This is perfect! Honestly, I believe the movie should be re-edited so that everything is still in black and white, but the the titles and blood are red.
I agree! I'd like an official release of the film with these red titles and also the deleted footage that has recently been restored to the latest release. Then I feel like we will have a perfect release of Psycho.
And here I thought this movie couldn't possibly get any scarier...

Brilliant effort! Though red suits it very well, Psycho's opening credits were actually in green on original première prints, à la Bass's credits for North by Northwest, so to recreate that would be completely authentic. Also, the CGI ident is a 21st century addition by current distributors Universal. Psycho was originally distributed by Paramount with their 1917-1967 logo. ua-cam.com/video/1ON67uYwGaw/v-deo.html
Wait the opening to the Remake should have been in red not green as well
Just proves how much of a wasted opportunity the remake really was. That film could've done a re-adaptation of the original Robert Bloch novel, but instead they just did a carbon copy of the original.
