I'll try to soon. Columbia Heights will soon have two new sirens so I should hear a the difference between their soon to be FS 2001 130 and the older FS 2001 and the multiple sirens
@dualactionsurgilator Correct! The Thunderbolts are coming from nearby Northeast Minneapolis, There is also a Allertor 125 coming from the neighboring Suburb of Saint Anthony.
I used to live in Minnesota Columbia Heights and Brooklyn Boulevard and central and friendly I miss Minnesota I want to go back my brother Wayne lives there Minnesota is the prettiest states in the world I love it
@dualactionsurgilator I only heard the allertor once. on hear it's at aprox. 8:12 or 8:13. Is that where you cought it? and Thanks. As of November 2011 St. Anthony no longer has the allertor. It has been replaced by a FS2001. I ll have to try to catch it some time. both near and at Silverwood Park to see if it will reach the park because of the height.
49th ad Johnson by the High School and Elementary School. The Thunderbolt is down on 27th and Johnson now is a Whelan Vortex. St Anthony at the time was a ACA Allertor125 now is a FS 2001 130 as of 2011
@Worcester2007 I should have guessed the T-bolts were from Nordeast by the tone (4/5 port) common in Minneapolis. I only faintly caught the Allertor. Once again nice recording.
I love all the siren sounds. Of the 2001 is louder. And the Thunderbolt 1000T over Minneapolis Awesome :D
It's in the discription. nearest is 49th Avenue at the park across from the Elementary School and High School.
Nice ambient recording of the siren system. I take it this was the 18:55 test. Am I hearing a thunderbolt in the background, can't tell?
I love the sound of those 2001s!
Try this same location with the new Whelen Vortexes you will hear multiple ones start up for the 2016 Tornado Drill

So for this county, They set the sirens off for 5 minutes in alert for warnings instead of the standard 3 minutes? Cool!
