"E Paraná" seems to be a much older song than "parana e". Mestre Cabecinha sings "e Paraná" in a recording circa 1940s. A different mestre, whose name I forget, tells the story of how he created the corrido "Paraná e" to poke fun of mestre parana because he was late for a special show circa 1960s. Just some fun facts.

Thanks for the insight.. I've heard also parana eh was written as a song sang as blacks marched off to battle in the battle of parana..🤔
