I made no sales all of april on posh until teh last week of april . Nothing jamazing ust a lot of my old clothing so probably did not make anything if you consider inflation and what cost 20 way back when and what that 20 is worth now LOL ..just did the inflation calculator and 20.00 dollars from the 80's is now 60.12 so yeah lost money LOL
I'm doing well with vintage dresses right now (the fancy ones) and Y2K and 90's dresses. It's been a weird month (April)--like super low offers or buying things that were really old in my closet, but purchased outright. Super weird. I'm afraid to pick up Madewell these days. For me, it's just like ...crickets.
I pick up silk slips too. They are really fun to wear. We're the same age, but I somehow still am wearing these things. Robert Rodriguez is so sad to me. I found a really hot silk red sort of ruffled top...no. Just no. I don't think it had a single like. It was very strange to me. I mean, I priced it low. Totally confusing.
Levi’s shorts and skirts are terrible sellers for me and used Levi’s unless special vintage ones. The new with tags Levi’s still sells ok though! I get a fair amount of those at local liquidation stores on super clearance.
during the 80's during teh madonna era of music. My friend came to stay with me for a few weeks , one night she asks to borrow my antique slip ( it was a gorgeous old slip antique white with lots of lace and lots of pleats I picked it up at an antique store ) . SO I lend it to her and she is going clubbing and all she wore was that antique slip ad lacey bra and and over sized button down shirt open . I was totally taken aback and I say that its not a skirt it is a slip it goes under a skirt not as a skirt > She just rolls her eyes and says that is teh style ... Egads it was pretty but nothing that I would wear just as clothing
I have only made 1019.00 dollars for the whole year on posh mark and I think 200 on ebay , Fb and craigslist maybe 50.00 dollars . I dumped mercari after they changed their user agreement that allows buyers to return item no matter what teh reason , yep deleted the app ... I will not buy on an app that I will not sell on , Mercar had the worse customer service so yeah that one agreement changes was their thridt strike for me they were out
I understand your reasons and I haven't had to deal with Mercari's customer service. I also haven't had any returns since the update. I have made quite a few sales because people are using their balance to shop. ☺️ Looks like eBay is doing well for you and I struggle there. Best of luck on sales!
@@bluebelle9572 yeah I suspect they are on their way out with thier record of terrible customjer service towrd their sellers . Sadly I think a lot of this online selling platforms are on their way inclusing posh . Ebay will probably hold on teh longest since they sell to a larger audience

I always pick up Levis if they're in good shape or vintage - I often find them $1-3 and can count on getting $20-25 for them.

The wool sweater with small holes. These can be mended with invisible thread and it never shows if done right. Loved the haul.

Poshmark is slow for me Lori, little better then February and March , starting on EBay, that shipping is hard compared to Poshmark
