- In this video, learn how to use "ever" and "never" in English. "Ever" and "never" are common adverbs of frequency in English.
"Ever" is used in the present perfect in question form to ask if you've done something at least once.
"Never" is used in the present perfect to say that you've done something zero times.
"Ever" and "never" can also be used in the present simple. In question form, "ever" is used to ask about the frequency of your action. "Never" is used to say that the action is not part of your daily routine, and it takes place zero time during your daily routine.
By the end of the video you'll know how to use "ever" and "never" in the present perfect and present simple forms.

I saw it in regular films. Is it becoming popular to say "I never said it" vesus "I never say it." Which sounds more natural or which is correct to use?
Depends if you want the past simple or present simple.
1) Have you ever eaten at that restaurant? 2) Never. According to my information, even though it is said to serve delicious food, specially sea food, their prices are out of my range.
