climbing the Passage du Derochoir, Rochers des Fiz on 18/08/2020

This video blog shows the conditions on our ascent of the Passage du Derochoir on the 18th August 2020. The conditions were good under foot with a bit of damp rock midway up due to the cloud base on the day. Care was needed on these passages due to the slippery rock but overall the climb felt safe as long attention was paid to foot placement. A fantastic hike with cathedral like rocks on the approach and the beautiful plateau of the desert de Plate to view when at the top, highly recommended.
