Don't think I've ever seen such an amount of growth with OSR let's hope it doesn't suffer disease pressure. The wheat is looking good too but that should do as you've drilled that around a month early. Hopefully it'll hold up to any disease too. If it was me, I would be drilling early this year as well. Jim Gannon the claydon is a good all rounder with the front legs giving a drainage/root corridor and the different sowing feet widths to give excellent seed density in the row. Last years wet conditions showed the limitations of a disc drill with the rain coming and forgetting to stop the seed simply rotted in the slot cut by the disc. I think that if the claydon had been used the water would have had a better chance to get away.
