Such an amazing story to tell....everyone in the racing community need to lift Miss McKenna up on our shoulders and celebrate her. She's done more for the lives of those kids and for our racing family as a whole than most can say. Thank You, McKenna!
McKenna is not just fast and fearless in a race car, she is an amazing young woman outside the car. Her dedication to giving kids who dream of racing an opportunity to get into a kart, mentoring them and providing them with gear, instruction, etc., goes well beyond the typical young racer today. We are excited to see McKenna's star continue to rise, and to see this next generation of racers come up. Keep up the great work!
My hat's off to you young lady I'm somewhat speechless what a special way to pay it forward God bless you and a prayer for your continued success in all you do
The last shot of her, and her team drivers is awesome! Hats off to everyone in this story! All the way down to the folks who keep these small town tracks alive!
A wonderful thing to see that young lady give of here self in return for her accomplishments. She has a beautiful heart, and smarts, intelligence on top of that. Bless her for taking a interest in kids sharing with them in her special gifted way. I admire you young lady. I pray for allot more wonderful blessings in and throughout your life. You are special, Aloha
Hats off to her folks, great job raising this young lady. She has a gift that's for sure but it all started with how she was raised from day one. Love to meet her some day as well as her parents just to shake their hands and say thank you. Nothing in this world is more important than a child.
Omg im blubbering like a schoolgirl. That beautiful little is an angel sent from the heavens wow so much love in her it makes you think. Who have i helped today. So great thank you for sharing this great message im still in tears.
Hey my friend this is Brian Howard he wants to build him a 1962 dirt car race car and go to bartlesville palacios speedway and race it if you got one let me know you get rid of it let me know for free and Palatka Florida 32177
Wow what an incredible story of this young lady giving so much of herself at a young age truly inspiring God bless you McKenna and your parents you are one of a kind. Can't wait to see what your career has ahead of you I'm sure it's going to be great I will definitely be following your story
Wow...I. So impressed...my eyes are so...wet from you doing this and helping young kids up in their racing. Not only is it so commendable .but I admire you so much for doing it. Touched my heart big time. Thanks for being who you are.
Ya, there's tons of pollen up my way too. This was remarkably well done, especially dealing with such sensitive issues. The young lady; a high school kid for heavens sake. She's wonderful. The young boy who lost his father in a racing accident; it took guts and a fine touch to include that in the story. I identified particularly with the addicted dad. I've been in recovery for many years; he described exactly the unending losses of addiction; his family, friends, job, self-worth and, for him, his freedom and his son's sorrows. It takes a lot of courage to look that squarely in the face, get sober, make your amends and strive for a good life. I urge him to not pin his sobriety on racing or anything or anybody else. No drug or drink will ever, ever lead to anything but despair. Sobriety can be joyful, treasure it because everything stems from it. Thanks much.
Well dad you have been given a second chance with life and hope you can keep it together. Been down that rd myself and it easy stopping the hard part is staying straight. Rooting for you two..
It’s basically me because my uncle since I was 2 months old I watched Nascar and I still do but just 2 months ago he was almost dead the most very special person in my life but he’s alive and I thank god
Wow!! Incredible story. From incredible people. Your a good man Brad. One day at a time Brad. Keep up the good work and McKenna is awesome. She didn't judge you.
Thank you NASCAR and Thank you FOX! THIS is what you should be doing more of and less coverage of the big NASCAR series. Us little guys have really felt forgotten with the rise of NASCAR. Kate's story really highlights not just one incredible story but shines a light on the Racing Community and how we reach deep in our pockets to help out the people to our left and right. I served 16 years in the military and the Racing Community was great at filling that void of doing something greater than yourself.
In the twilight years as one looks back, she is exactly right. What a wonderful person and she is an inspiration to all. May God continue to richly bless you. And thanks for sharing her life.
I was about to cry to this story, this was such great inspiration for many more to come... Absolutely loved it, and I suggest this to anyone who doesn't know dirt racing, this is one of the ways we see badass drivers rip dirt every night. This is such a great documentary, I wanted to cry to this.
Wow McKenna you are an amazing young lady. My son is 12 years old and races gokarts and as a Dad I know how much time and money it takes to race. I struggle financially just to keep his racing passion alive. Growing up without my dad I really understand what that little boy was going through. I work in a correctional facility so I also understand addiction and incarceration. Your efforts at such a young age has blown me away. You are really making a difference and to hear you mention God shows that you have faith in him. With faith in God all is possible. God bless you and your family
An exceptional young lady, coaching and mentoring the next generation of racing professionals! Thank you for producing this video, as our racing communities at large - need more content like this! I'm going to buy a few of her shirts, to support the cause.

I love that story. My son has always wanted to race. As I use to but I’ve never had the money to do it for him. We are working on a drag truck ford ranger with a 454 but I work all the time just to pay bills and we are three years into building the truck and the motor is still setting on the garage floor. Seeing this video was such an encouragement to figure out how to get the extra money to see my son drive that truck down the track. Not sure how to but thank you for doing what you are. Beautiful
I would of loved to had the opportunity these kids had. She definitely made an impact on many kids lives and families. You are a great compassionate woman your an inspiration to many! Great job!
1:11 Way to protect your wrist from being broken. I'm glad you recovered well from your TBI. Unless you've had one, you have know idea how dark it can get. Maybe you can be Hailey's teammate on an all women's Cup team?
