Hello LegendKicker! Firstly I want to say that I love the amount of effort you put into these videos teaching Law, and that your passion for Tekken is very admirable. These video's have inspired me to pick up Law and I don't believe there's a better series of Law tutorial's on the web. May I ask a question relevant to this video? How do you deal with your opponent backdashing your pressure? It seems that jab into jab or jab into df1 are both backdash-able, which seems like a get-out-of-jail-free-card to me. I tried asking in the Tekken Zaibatsu discord and didn't exactly get an answer.
you could use the moves with farther reach b1, b2, f1+2. Or simply use the lows df3+4, db3, d4,3. But youre gonna be prone to getting counter hit since these moves are generally slower than jabs and df1s. You could also do manual DSS into legend kick, d1+2~f+4 or iwr+3. Let them block these and put them in a mix up situation. These moves have too much advantage on block, they simply cant just backdash away after.
With Season 3 out, Law's D1 seems like an unbelievably useful high crushing poke. The fact that it launches on CH for them trying to punish raw D1 is hilariously good IMO. Hesitation advantage may make this move safe unless low parried. Between DB3 and D1, I think that Law has some of the best low pokes in the game. Both are only -12 on block, both offer frame advantage on hit, both offer reward on CH for chunky damage. Compared to Feng, whose DB3 does nothing on CH and is launch punishable, D2 leaves him -1 on hit, FCDF1 leaves him -1 on hit, D4 is generally less useful than Marshall's, KNP 1 and STC 4 are partially telegraphed by the stance entries. At least he has a fair few low launchers in conjunction with generally superior range on his low pokes.
@@CoolDima09 tf u saying makes no sense. Law's weak side is his left. Law's left side is opponent's right side. If opponent sidestep to their own right, they step to Law's left side. When mensioning a charecter's weakside u say so from the perspective of that charecter but when mensioning which side u should step, it is opposit to the weak side of the charecter u r trying to step.
Oh so Law's previous 2,2 is now 2,b+2. I dropped law after 1 game in t7 becoz of that 😂 i didnt know he still had it. Wow so much more info thnx for the vid 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻
I hardly use that move to be honest. Its just half a frame faster than ws4 but is basically used the same. And yes you can easily mess up and get a rage art when you have rage. So you can do it as ws f+1+2 instead.
Lucky Chloe can interrupt Laws Df+1 after law connects db+3....she can use her hopkick to crush it....you can see for yourself....this is a disgrace to law seeing as the math says df1 is uninterruptible
@@Dragoncannon4 nah not really, it's called evasion and the point of evasion is to break the frame/math with some price and risk ofc. That's why move like backswing blow, aop, lightning screw, etc exist and character like ling, feng, chloe has a thing around evasion
@@kaje3435 A hopkick is just a hopkick....has no evasion....that fact that it crushes laws Df+1 after she eats a db+3 mush be rechecked and removed....this is extremely stupid
These tutorials made me love my main even more. Thanks
Dude seriously thank you for these video's. God bless.

Keep it up!!! Great work!
Great job. Thank you.
It's quite surprising you didn't mention d3+4 which is his best high crushing low.
yes because I forgot! hahaha thanks for that
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do
thank you 💕
I would like to add that after ch db +3 f 3+4 is guaranteed and is better than another db +3 imo. Great vid
thanks for that. I probably should update this
btw. Just checked it. They could block f+3+4 if they get up by holding 'b'.

Was wondering if this was you gamer tag aso
Is changing 4,3 to 4,u+3 good? Because people mostly duck 4,3 instantly when I tried doing it. But with 4,u+3, they won't suspect it
If theyre sharp can fuzzy guard both
Hey guys, im playing the game now, is this guide ok for the current season or things changed drastically for the character?
What NH stands for?
Normal hit. When the attack lands but it's not a CH (counter hit).
2:51 LegendKicker: "Law's left side is his weak side" *step's to the right
Maybe because being player 2 stepping right makes you step Law on his left side ?
@@titouangenerat4593 Sure you are right. But Laws right side is actually his weak side. So step to the left.
@@CoolDima09 Nah his right side you might eat some Magic 4 and Df1. The left side is weaker to side step
@@titouangenerat4593 Every character has moves that tracks either the right or left side. If you step to the right you get hit by his b2.

Can u give me some uses for laws ws1+2?

How can I fall opponent to ground by law while he his hitting me low kick or high kick?
Tutorials are awosome.

It's legit strategy tho, you can also immediately do hopkick after drag wr2 on block to crush his df1
