my wife and go to Vegas all the time, but we always do some restaurant research before each trip. She always says when I begin to search youtube "See if Josh and Rachael have eaten there"
I was extremely impressed with Amalfi. We had a table of 8 and everything ordered was exceptional. In addition to our pasta dishes we added a side of crispy potatoes and green beans. The sides were unbelievably delicious! Service was first class and ambience was perfect. On our 3 night stay we ate at Hells Kitchen, Peter Luger Steakhouse and Amalfi. We all concluded Amalfi was our favorite dinner.
Great to hear! That would easily be our choice for tops of those three restaurants. Weird but the bread is one of the things i remember most about Amalfi - so freakin good.
Probably went to Amalfi the same time as you sat in same booth. Your review was spot on Foccacia fabulous but expensive, scampi not my favorite not in same class as Raos was, our main course excellent, service as in all of Flay’s restaurants was excellent.
I found Amalfi's food to be 50/50 with the biggest letdown coming from how heavy handed the kitchen was with salt. That said, some of the things worked very well. He actually made me like fennel in a dessert, not just on its own, but how it combined with white peaches and blueberries. The staff was absolutely wonderful.
Nicely done review of Amalfi’s restaurant- did you know Amalfi, is one of Bobby’s favourite places to go ? Amalfi is a town and comune in the province of Salerno, in the region of Campania, Italy. He wanted to share that experience through his restaurant…
We actually did want a little sissy by him saying that, so interesting to hear about. We actually will be hitting up Italy twice this year on both sides of the boot but unfortunately missing the Amalfi Coast.
Looks great. I’ve been wanting to try Amalfi . One of my favorite seafood 🦞 restaurants is Lakeside at the Wynn . I shall add Amalfi to my reservation list on my next trip . Cool video 😎😎😎
Trust me we understand the fear of the prices, and that is likely the reason we waited so long to push into a lot of Italian restaurants like we have lately. Thanks so much for sharing
Hard to compare the pastas just since the sauces were very different. Might give RPM the slight nod but barely RPM Gelato we found to be a lot smoother and creamier at RPM so preferred that. The cherries at Amalfi were amazing though and helped them get closer We really liked RPM but the overall experience at Amalfi was better in terms of service And atmosphere, dinner vs lunch May have been part of that but either way we liked both a lot
Amalfi is one of our favorites, of course I’m obsessed with Bobby Flay though. Next time try the Charred Octopus (amazing!) and the Crispy Potatoes are a definite highlight too.
We don't have a kitchen to cook in, plus we enjoy the experience. The prices are not good but sadly it is on par with other higher level restaurants in Vegas.
Overpriced for sure, overrated depends on the places I would argue. We have just accepted that prices are generally 2+ times the cost we would spend in other big cities

Oh man ☺️….that means so much to us! Have you found any other places we should give a try?
Thanks for watching!!
@@JoshRachael how about Delmonico Steakhouse Venetian?
@@stevee4092 Definitely on the list!
Glad to be your fishmonger! Stay blessed 🙏
Oh my gosh thank you so much! You made our experience so unique and fun! Sorry for posting Bobby over you in the Thumbnail
The fish and pasta look good.
Thanks so much - we loved it

That pistachio sundae looked like my dream come true.
Haha it was great. Although I (Josh) liked the Pistachio Gelato better at RPM down the hall. Still very good though. Thanks for watching

Everything looked great! Nice touch with the fishmonger, definitely adds to the experience.
Yes it does!
That fish looked delish
It was :)
You guy's just smoke on these videos great job again
Thanks so much for watching!
Bobby is my favorite Chef! I loved Mesa Grille and can't wait to someday try this restaurant!
You should! Thanks so much!
OMG - the pasta rags is my jam...I love those noodles!! And that bread - I could eat that all day! Thank you!!
Might be the best bread for us at a Vegas restaurant, at least recently
I loved mess grill. I’ve wanted to try the new place but I just have a hard time paying those prices for pasta.
Trust me we understand the fear of the prices, and that is likely the reason we waited so long to push into a lot of Italian restaurants like we have lately. Thanks so much for sharing
Whooooooooooooaaa delish!!!
Thank you David
Unless I missed it , it would be nice for you to tell us which hotel the restaurant is in. Thanks!
Oops sorry if we didn’t mention it. It is at Caesar’s Palace
The fish looks amazing! Just curious, how does the pasta dishes and pistachio ice cream compare to RPM? Love your videos! Keep ‘‘em coming! 🤩

I could eat that entire meal again!
Right Now!

Us too! Always enjoyed Bobby's cooking shows! We had really high hopes and so glad that it hit the mark for us!
Everything looked great guys! Don’t think we would want the fish head so filet works for us haha😂
Oh come on Doug! Nothing better than a fish eye 😂
Over priced little servings.. the roasted potatoes yummy
When everything is overpriced it is now the new norm sadly
Those fish prices are insane!! It’s just like the overpriced meats at Salt Bae! Go to 99 Ranch and order a cleaned fish and cook it your self!
We don't have a kitchen to cook in, plus we enjoy the experience. The prices are not good but sadly it is on par with other higher level restaurants in Vegas.
I have found Vegas restaurants to be overrated and even more overpriced. I never feel like I get my money's worth.
