Jessie has said multiple times that Whitney was the reason she wanted to sing. Her idol. You can see it in her eyes how much this song and that woman means to her. That's real singing and real passion before our eyes. I love her.

one of the things that made this an amazing Whitney rendition is Jessie knew her limits, she knew that the transitions Whitney did was not something Jessie could execute effortlessly but not only did she make it her own she made the song even sound so much better. I’m so proud of Jessie, even with certain notes she literally sounded so much like Whitney

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that whenever these singers go to Japan they always do their best. Lisa Fischer, Whitney, Mariah, Celine best have always been in Japan.
