For anyone struggling, this may help. 1: Make sure the object that controls the PP object has the layer set to PP (or whatever you named it.) 2: make sure you create a layer in the main camera called PP. 3: Make sure IsGlobal is on. 4: some people say you need to put the PP object into the camera, I didn't have to, but try it. Note, these are not in order, its just a list that may solve your issue(s). Have a nice day :)
Haha, I'm glad you think so. I just have questions that subscribers have asked and I try and get through them when I can. This was one of those. Due to making a horror game myself, I feel as if it's something people like to know! :D
I'd love to see you come up with a course on creating an environment such as this. Gives me strong P.T. vibes and my feebly character artist mind struggles with figuring out how environments are made these days :D I'd be willing to pay for it if it were of such quality as the house in this video.
It does take a hell of a lot of effort to create an environment from scratch like this, if you're modelling it yourself. What about if you bought a pack similar to this and used it in your creations? :)
@@SpeedTutor I'd totally buy it but I would love to actually learn how to do it myself as well, it's more fun that way :D Unfortunately most online courses for environments are quite low quality ;-;
I'll see what I can do but creating environments without bought assets is a pretty long and drawn out process, so it's hard to get people engaged with that. If you appreciate what I'm saying :)
@@SpeedTutor yeah, that's probably why there aren't many courses covering anything too advanced. Even at Uni they don't teach you how to actually make the stuff look good which I found quite disappointing :D Gotta research everything yourself...
Hi, I'm doing a game jam and this video is perfect for me, thanks for making it. Do you remember what Render Pipeline you used for this? I saw both HDRP and URP in your asset folder so I couldn't quite deduce it myself haha.
@SpeedTutor Hey, is it possible to use this Post Processing Package to URP projects? I've noticed there is a default post processing in my project (I guess it's URP related) but it lacks some effects that the package has. The default PP works fine, but I can't get the PP from the package to work in any way...
@@SpeedTutor I was looking for ambient occlusion but I found it inside the urp renderer as an option. So the method you re showing on the video is only available for hdrp projects ? Just wondering because I've tried everything to make it work and I'm curious if it's because of my renderer or I missed something !
This video might help you, it features how to add all render features including ambient occlusion. Plus others you might not have seen: ua-cam.com/video/m7EAdnvStHI/v-deo.html This one is about URP post processing too: ua-cam.com/video/SeXdXvtunNY/v-deo.html Let me know if those help :)
Very good! Just checking your texture pack also, might contribute to the vibe. Hardest part was implementing twitch chat and real time subs popping on a whiteboard eheh@@SpeedTutor
Is this using the Standard Rendering Pipeline, URP or HDRP? I know that some Post Processing attributes and elements are different from URP compared to the built in.
this wont work for me, i did as the tutorial said did i miss something? edit: this edit is very fast but I got it working and my game looks great thank you!
@@SpeedTutor well how to disable individiual post effect from an option menu , or the player get hits and the post effect changes like glitching effects would be great if all is HDRP related topics , another topic would be cool , if you can change the worlds on the fly similiar to zelda games or dishonered
I've got tutorials on disabling post processing effects from menus, even individual post processing effects. I've also got tutorials on rendering settings for each render pipeline and that touches on certain effects too. :)

Just realized that bodycam using this house
Oh really? Is it a big game?
@@SpeedTutor yep
That's oddly specific but also extremely useful :D

I appreciate it, Jon! :D I best see it in your games at some point.
finally a detailed guide for post procesing!
I hope you found it helpful! :D

I think this was URP, as I recall but it's similar for Built-in and URP. Although some of the effects change.
The scene looks cool
Great! now i wanna make a horror game. Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome! :) I hope to see it very soon.

Which effects is it missing? I'll give you some pointers, as most of them are available in URP but they're often hidden. Haha.

You're very welcome, my friend :)
thank you so muchfor this!!!
You're very welcome, are you creating a horror game? :)
I created a room for my intermissions on stream, and I am giving it a horror vibe!@@SpeedTutor
Oh that's sounds awesome! How is it looking so far?

Do I have a texture pack? :o Good work though, every little helps for making it better.
Very Awesome and well explained video
Thanks a lot 😊

I have tutorials using URP too, showing you the ins and outs if you search my channel :)
Ok, so is this using the built in rendering pipeline?@@SpeedTutor
It works if use unity 2022?. I tri use post processing from plugin and it dosn't work..
I can't get a PP layer option..
(Using URP and the asset UHFPS horror and atmospheric house.
Did you create the layer yourself?
@@SpeedTutor
I created the volume layer, but the pp layer, there was no PP option, so I used Default, but it didn't work. : /
You need to create the PP layer at the top of the Unity inspector by adding it yourself :)
Thanks :)
You're very welcome! :D
Hello! Where can I find this scene sample?
The main house scene is from a pack on the Unity store from Finward studious :)
Nice!
Thanks for watching! :D
this wont work for me, i did as the tutorial said did i miss something?
edit: this edit is very fast but I got it working and my game looks great thank you!
Oh awesome! How did you fix it?
@@SpeedTutor I just put the post process object inside of the camera and then I adjusted the settings until it was visible in game
@@RIAHS_ I had to do the same, weird
bro you made ferst to fathom
I'm not sure what you mean? :)
@@SpeedTutor you are devleoper of fears to fathom the horror game its famous
That's not me, haha. But I'm glad you thought of me! :)
@@SpeedTutor bro he use your asset
Which asset is that? :o
You make this video for me? :)) Thx my friend!
Of course! Thanks for checking this out! :)
@@SpeedTutor Always I will checked your videos.
Does it work with HDRP?
It will most likely be very similar. Post processing is different in HDRP as it's built in but most of the effects are similar :)
Why did it not show PP option in my unity?
you have to create it
Good Job, but can u make th same for unreal 🥰
Haha, I don't often use Unreal myself but does the post processing feature a similar set?
@@SpeedTutor ok, yep i use the same options and it works, Thx
why is it not working for me? :
Did you set the right layers?
its good now, i just need to check the global thanks!@@SpeedTutor
I’m not sure why it didn’t work for me
What happened?
Wait a second is this URP or HDRP ?
Built-in probably
As Omar suggested, it's built-in. I think Finwards modular house does support both URP and HDRP.
it dosent work for me
What happens? :o
@@SpeedTutor Sven i charge the variables nothing changes
Did you add the correct layer to the post processing object and the items on the camera?
Bro in need help my game is so slow
What's the matter with it? :o

c'mon man do something more complex enough with simple tutorials
