I actually pictured Chris Pine as the Pastor when I was reading. I think this could work as a Trilogy (for film) or a TV Show with multiple seasons, but I agree it would be really hard but I think it could be done more like 'West Wing' than Armageddon. But honestly the LA Fire Chapter was absolutely thrilling.
