    This is so cool. The fact that you’re sharing the code is even cooler! Thanks Josh!

    Fantastic video! The perfect length for my coffee break. 👍 We just adopted FluxUI and it's been a game-changer for productivity! 🙌

    Thanks for the inspo - new to laravel and livewire, but just managed to replicate your toast functionality using a combo of wireui notification, a redirect with navigate set to true and livewire persist 🙌

      I really like it! I know it's not as consistent as session messages, but I love how easy it is.

    I am now thinking of making a livewire component librabry in bootstrap, just drop in components, what do you think?

      Most people left Bootstrap since TailwindCSS. Sorry to say it but it's the truth. The only ones still using Bootstrap are new frontend developers and they rarely use Laravel.
      You can of course make it but I honestly think you would be doing it for the sake of doing it and with a very small audience.
      Laravel itself ditched Bootstrap as the default frontend library years ago.

    i think there is a real oppotunity to take hold of the subset of the community who love flux, our team love it and use all the time now.

      It truly is awesome. It's crazy the things you get out of the box with it. Well worth the investment for me and I haven't even used it on any "real world" projects yet!

    I get the criticism, but let's be honest, having this library in a comercial environment is a lifesaver.

    Great video as usual, Josh! Quick question - did you build this on top of Fortify (and create the views from scratch) or did you start with Breeze and then edit the breeze views? Just wondering which is the best way to do this for other UI libraries etc.

    • @joshcirre
      @joshcirre  3 місяці тому +1

      Basically on top of Breeze! I just copied the Breeze Volt/Livewire Class and modified it for Folio. ☺️

    if this were open source it would have change the web development world!
    i m begineer of php and i m greatly infulenced of caleb porzio ....
    if i were multi millionare i would have bought the entire flux and contribute the next generation of web development ..............
    caleb should be paid for his hardwork and contribution to the web development !!!

    josh, what livewire ui libraries do you recommend? both paid and free? if you had to choose one of each, which one would you choose based on the number of components?

    I hope there will be a version without Folio, maybe even without Volt 😊

    • @joshcirre
      @joshcirre  4 місяці тому

      Probably not in this particular starter since this is my own opinionated starter and those are my tools of choice. But I'm sure there will be plenty of options for Flux users. 😁

    please make a project using spalde and vue js. it will be very helpful. without complex state management and virtual dom.

      @joshcirre  4 місяці тому

      I'm not an expert in Splade and VueJS but I've found it nice to use. The creator is all in on Inertia though with Inertia Table. :)

      It is not free. Although there are a good collection of components that are. :)

    • @velocinator

      You don't have to complain about it not being free, dude, Caleb made his most important packages (Livewire/Alpine) free to use. Build it yourself if you want to!
      I see it this way: by using/purchasing Flux, you're supporting everything he does, and it'll help when he releases his next tools for free.

    • @heirememberme
      @heirememberme 4 місяці тому

      not all free for best ecosystem, just build in your own way, caleb was build a good ecosystem and you just use it and still complain isn't free that not make sense at all

    Even though live wire is good but it still is very far behind a proper front end like vue.
