Im glad they wanted the flashback to when they first met too, i thought it'd be inevitable but they just referenced it
It’s so annoying how they changed so much by giving so many sub plots, if they had given them more screen time they could easily have had a flashback, both season 1 and 2 had a flashback

It's very annoying that they have to share so much screentime with other plots. Why did Simon and Daphne get their own season but everyone else has to share?
I agree. I still like this season but there's too many side plots with the Mondrichs and Francesca sharing the season with Colin. Season 1 was Simon and Daphne. Season 2 Anthony and Kate and Season 3 should just be Colin and Pen. Follow the books properly

same, it's incredibly annoying! it's not just 1-2 sideplots either. i've only read polin's book but from what i heard it makes sense that francesca also gets married before it's her own season but with her also being the diamond of the season, i do feel like she's sometimes taking the spotlight from penelope a bit. but we have so much else. the mondrich subplot seems so disconnected from the other storylines, idk if they will tie it together in the end with something else. why does violet have to also get a love interest in this season and not maybe next one? also they used that plot as an excuse to not write the penelope / agatha friendship from the book, which sucks. i could also do with less cressida but i guess she is somewhat important for that one subplot about LW. and idk if she'll maybe be the one to end up marrying lord debling. benedict is also sleeping around again without any other storyline. but as you can see, they even have too many love side plots going on when most people just want to watch colin and penelope's love story this season. i saw a chart the other day showing their screentime compared to the season 1 and 2 couples and they had significantly less scenes together so far. i really hope that changes in the second part.
Apparently the screen time has been the same in all seasons. I think it's because of them splitting this season into two parts that their screen time feels shorter.
