Great to have an insight in to how different airlines are responding to the restrictions and working to keep everyone safe! Good to see Eurowings are doing a good job in keep us safe on their flights.✈️
3:21 yes, I had a flight end of March (already during the lockdown). That was the weirdest/craziest/spookiest/saddest flight experience I ever had. It was a domestic flight from TXL to MUC on Lufthansa (a CRJ900 with only 20-25 pax). In the entire evening there were only two departures from TXL: Doha and Munich. The airport was DESERTED. Then I didn’t fly at all until last week, when I went to Spain for vacation. When I flew back home to Germany I had to get tested (for Corona) on arrival, that was a very interesting experience too. Those flights were almost fully booked though, so flying didn’t feel too different this time, except maybe the masks. But having to fill out forms during the flight on the way back (Aussteigerkarte) was definitely weird for someone who grew up in a unified EU without any of such things. It reminded me of my trip in Southeast Asia, where I had to fill out forms on any international flight. But here in Europe? Super weird but I guess that’s the “New Normal”. 10:19 I wish that would have been the case on my two recent flights... but I guess Ryanair doesn’t do that. It was packed! We were also not given hand sanitation towels or whatsoever.
On April 18th i sign off from a cruise ship (i worked as a musician there) in Los Angeles. I flew from Los Angeles to Romania with a charter flight. 1th flight-LA-London with Wamos Airlines, 2nd flight-London-Frankfurt with Lufthansa, 3rd flight Frankfurt- Sofia with Bulgaria Air.And from Bulgaria by car to Romania.:))
My last flight before lockdown was on january 2020 from munich to Catania. After lockdown october from Catania to Venice. These months have been really bad....hope to restart flying as once very soon
I flew to the Azores and back some days ago. Flight to São Miguel with stopover in Lisbon and I had on both planes a seat row for me. And on the nonstop return flight too. 😂😂
I would not fly on any airline that packs people in to every seat, at least while we are in a pandemic. There is no way of knowing if the stranger sitting next to you has been in contact with anyone carrying the virus.
I went with my family on a road trip from Kuwait to UAE, when we were there, they closed the land boarders so we had to ship the car and go back on a plane, luckily we came back on an Emirates 777
I do also like a lot the new disembark system that EW/LH have implemented! I hope they and other airlines will keep it in the future! But I still don't get why LH has decided to move EW to T1 in MUC rather than having it in T2, many times there are connecting flights between EW and LH and it is not the best to move from one terminal to the other....
At the end, while giving the marks for the flight you should have added one more point: COVID PRECAUTIONARY STEPS UNDERTAKEN BY THE AIRLINE. Which will help the passengers to choose which airline considers passengers life more precious than their money.....
Nice trip report!! You are so lucky that you can fly already, in my country we still have loads of cases, yesterday we had 4,884 new covid cases and if you want to travel you need to have a 14 day quarantine at your own expense and a covid-19 test and also at ur own expense so I have decided not too
3:21 Yes. I already made full 4 flights, but I have one witch I nearly made but it's failed and I recorded and upload on my channel. Why failed because during starting up from Gdańsk I have twice rejected take of and procedure HEAD DOWN! HEAD DOWN! (in polish goes POCHYL SIĘ! POCHYL SIĘ!) if you want see how it's look inside the aircraft check out my video on my chanel
Greetings from Germany. Just flew on Lufthansa from Amsterdam to Munich on Wednesday. If you use Instagram, we recommend following us there as we post live stories of every flight there. It's like a live Trip Report. (@flightexperience_yt). The stories from this Lufthansa flight are still available there in the Highlight section. So you might check that out to see what to expect on your Lufthansa flight.
Not wearing a face mask to protect people at a greater risk than you is a very intolerant behaviour and also dangerous. It is somehow funny to see you want to fly normally again but at the same time you don’t want to do anything for that.
Already filmed 3 more and we plan to fly more during September if the pandemic allows it. You might check out our website to see which flights are planned and we've already flown: www.flightexperience.de/upcoming-flights/ . We also recommend to follow us on Instagram as we post live stories of each flight there. It's like a live Trip Report. (@flightexperience_yt).
Great video, the regulations taken in this flight are almost the exact (or is) regulations as airlines do in Southeast Asia Malaysia, except the form that you have to fill in when flying regionally, overall, probably the new normal ain’t that hard to get used to, stay safe yen flying and when travelling. Greetings from an AvGeek in Malaysia who wishes to be able to fly again.
I love the beginning 43 seconds.😂😂 The kettle and getting to the airport
Thanks!
good

Flights are fully booked or quite full atm because they reduced the flight plan a lot. Less flights to the location means fuller/crowded flights.
Finally a new video of flying in a pandemic
Great trip reports are rolling out again!! Big fan of yours from India here 👍👌
Thank you very much!

hi guys! really like your videos. Maybe an video-idea. How to book amazing cheap flight tickets like you are doing in detail?
Thank you! Appreciate your suggestion.
you can use vpn to connect to your destination and then book tickets and you can get them for a cheaper and get first class for like 100 $ 😂👍👌
When I flew from Stuttgart to Berlin-TXL on Aug 20, the measures were the same as in this video, except for the entry regulation lol

Thanks. Never understood the Terminal 1 operations of Eurowings, too.
The “temporary normal” is what you should say to not fear monger
Agreed! This is not normal, and we should not accept it as such.
Yes I live in ABU DHABI and I am form Egypt I went Egypt in covid 19
At the end, while giving the marks for the flight you should have added one more point: COVID PRECAUTIONARY STEPS UNDERTAKEN BY THE AIRLINE.

Sorry to hear that. In Germany cases are rising now again, that is why you should travel responsibly.

This isn't my idea of fun anymore. And I'm certainly never going to wear a face mask for anyone.
