I just purchase my Daniel Defense DD5v3 in .308 from GunBroker and it came with a Nightforce NX8 4-32×50 F1 and the Vortex Impact 4000 New for $4750 and its going to be fun learning something new. Im watching all these video's on this range finder that it seems easy but also complicated on how to set it up and use it since this is my 1st high tech item I now have.
This is really exciting. Been waiting for a rifle mounted range finder that didn't cost an arm and a leg for a long time. Is this going to come in more colors? Edit: still costs an arm and a leg ($3k) and seems to only come in that FDE color. RIP
Man how cool is this. Could be a little confusing at first but once you get to know it get to use it. It'll be awesome to use and plus everything that comes inside the box and a lifetime warranty, it's definitely well worth it.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Has some cool features & not having to guess distance, use a handheld rangefinder, dope card etc will definitely appeal to some with deeper pockets than mine
What is the distance between the zero impact point and the laser point? The line of sight is horizontal and the laser is horizontal, which means that the laser and the line of sight are parallel to the target and therefore maintain their distance. If the game is big, there's enough surface area for the 5 cm gap to be respected with an optimum low square error. If the game is big, there's enough surface area for the 5 cm to be on the target, but if the game is small, particularly for the PCP community who want to use it, small game at very great distances, the surface area is very, very small, so the square error will be great, so the gap must be reduced and, if possible, the zero impact point and the laser must converge. What does Vortex have to say about this, because this gap is probably for targets of a certain size?
@@nonetheless01 point been? Buy something dearer and it claps out even in 10-15 years? bet their warranty has expired. put it away in a cupboard for a good while and forgot to take batteries out of it and they leak? any other brand will deny it straight up
Not my cup of tea (I don't need anything else hanging off my rifle) but cheers for coming up with something that is both new, useful, and will have it's niche
so great that vortex is bringing this tech at a price point where the masses can have access
Now It just needs to be available long enough to buy. LOL
$3k! 😂 bahahaha!
I noticed that “I am second” bracelet, and it was awesome to see Jim wearing it.
The new product looks incredible and convenient!
Multiple websites have it listed at 1999.99 USD
$1500 if you’re mil or LE 👀
What about veterans?
@Dillon97DT97 where at?
Doesn’t their military scope have a smaller version of this integrated into it. When’s that coming out
Probably never, at least in the same configuration.
As with most military tech, I'd bet never.
You don't want the mil spec one. 😂
This device will require a whole new and higher level of learning for me. Awesome!
Thats what Piet installed the diving board for on his video yesterday 😂
I might be living a sheltered life but the thing's they have these day's for shooting pleasure make's my head spin. This is so cool.
We need a stripped down version for sub $500. Like Just a rail mounted range finder with a pressure pad.
You guys just don't stop innovating I love it
Vortex optics & range finders are my go to for sure

Vortex, knocking it out of the park, again!
This looks like an awesome addition to any shooter's inventory.
Perhaps a bucket list item.
Vortex always on the brink!
So when are we going to get a Defender reddot for the RMR footprint?

compared to the other options at 8-10K this is a super value
Look around, the $3k MSRP translates to a street of something around $1,800 from various retailers.
Vortex's MSRP aren't real. Nobody sells Vortex stuff at the supposed MSRP.
seeing it for $2k at all the major retailers and online stores
What an amazing piece of technology!
WOW! that is an amazing system... Will be looking into that more in the future
That’s a sweet rangefinder. Another great product.
Vortex makes the best stuff.
If I ever win the lottery, vortex optics will have won the lottery
Vortex is innovative & reliable...great stuff!
Pretty nice addition for an optic
Another Vortex innovation!
Cool rangefinder! Would be very handy to have for open country, long range shots!
Great looking product will be one my Christmas list
Is the Wilcox RAPTAR we have at home? I mean it looks rad.
Beautiful rangefinder
Cool as heck. It would be neat to have a more expensive one with infrared for when I become reckless enough to buy a clip-on
Always something new!

Bot comment 😂😂
😂😂😂how much were you paid?
What a cool looking set! I’d love to live there!
Will Definitely Have To Take A Look At This.
Is this similar to the military scope you guys made? Looks like the top half of it..
What a great new product!

Fantastic rangefinder
Impressive piece of equipment
Looks like a great range finder

So cool. More companies making these helps with prices too.
I’m horrible about judging distance. This would be a great option for me.
Are these units limited to smaller calibers or can they handle big bore recoil? Ie 375, 416 and 50 BMG
It's amazing, that will come in handy for a lot of people including me.
Need to try a range finder.
I feel like technology is advancing so much to help the shooters.
Would love to try one out!
this is a pretty amazing innovation
Does this replace the previous Dope Disk?
Nice, but can’t have electronics on rifle hunting in Montana
Nice to see it isn't quite as big as I initially thought
Like anything vortex be glad you get that warranty , your going to need it .
regardless of quality on electronics, shit fails. Im surprised they kept that warranty for electronics
@@WhatTrigger thier stuff fails frequently.

Love Vortex
Such a great product
When will this be available in Canada?
I need to check one of these out
Do you have to use Vortex scope rings?
I like the All in One Aspect. 💯💯
This thing looks badass
The Impact 10,000 model will take the shot for you.
Well... another thing I didn't know I needed!
Will I have issues installing it on Night Force scope?
Not my cup of tea (I don't need anything else hanging off my rifle) but cheers for coming up with something that is both new, useful, and will have it's niche
Why does the range only display for a few seconds?
Love this innovation!
That is a cool little unit
I'd like to try it out.
I'm putting this on my Christmas list..
A very complete rangefinder+
WOW! That looks great!
Awesome unit!
This could enable us all to be long range snipers!
Like having a Buddy with a spotter scope, but smaller, and quieter!
What amazing technology
I love anything VORTEX!!!🎉🎉🎉
I want VORTEX🎉🎉🎉
Holy cow and at a relatively affordable price too! (Compared to $10k Wilcox RAPTAR)
This is a threat to the Sig K rangefinders
Love Vortex.
Rifle mounted? I'm in!
New stuff, love it!
very disappointed you can't run AB off your kestrel.
What does AB stand for?
@@DaKidd89More than likely…Applied Ballistic
evrything you need and more
Can I have for free?
Now this is pretty awesome!
Nice but can you work on Miniaturizing it?
Atta boy, Vortex!
Will I still need my Kestrel?
What is the beam divergence?
Everything you need!
This will be great long range hunting
I so want to have a play with one of those ❤
Wow what a great idea; that's awesome!
Can it handle being on a Barrett M82A1?
It should tie into a scope that adjustis for distance
Will this come in black?
Keep it rolling
Awesome tech.
Does this pair with new kestrel
Now this would be handy!
