This watch is perfect.. Including the strap given to it..the only thing i would have liked.. I have the white dial version.. An would have liked red burgundy hour hands. Including the continous second hand being red burgundy. Instead of black hands.. Other than that.. Its a perfect 10. For the price. This is a collectors watch.. Its my favorite watch.. An not even the most exspensive of my watches.. I love sun an moon watches.. This is my first 1.. But wont be my last.....
I disagree with you regarding the strap (obviously lol) but I agree with you 100% otherwise. 2 years later this is STILL my favorite watch in my collection.
Nice review. Thanks. I ALMOST received the blue dial last Christmas but it was out of stock. Instead, I received the Seiko "Bottle Cap" which is a very unique case designed Seiko 5. I hope to get this next Christmas. One additional positive on this Orient is the sapphire crystal on the front. Not too shabby for $269.00!
Yeah I believe I put the Sapphire Crystal in the info screen in the beginning. The Seiko Bottle Cap is a cook piece too! Good stuff! I think you'll enjoy this watch when you get it.
Thanks Timothy! Much appreciated. Sadly I don't know anyone who has a Mako 3 or a Kamasu that I can borrow. If someone will send one on though, I'll happily review it.
The chopped off X at 10 confused me at first, too. Could they have just sized the X so you could see it, or would that just throw of the aesthetics? Do all watches with similar complication to hour alignment do the same thing?
Did you tell us the size of your wrists? I skipped about a little. This watch is gorgeous, but I think it might look too big on my 17 cm wrist. Id get the more modern version, 41.5 mm, but still... You look like you have large wrists, and this watch is big even on you.
@@MrWynton5364 Well F me! I just noticed my Seiko watch had IIII for 4 as well. Thought Orient screwed up their watch. Hahaha. Never even noticed. Thank you sir.
I love Hirsch straps - I have one on my Orient Mako II USA (which I reviewed here too). The Urbane is so plain-looking that it's painful to look at lol. I've already had 3 different straps on this watch and still haven't found one that I love yet though, so we'll see what I come up with.
I have owned that watch for about 4 months and I really enjoy wearing it. The Samphire glass and the dial is wonderful.
This Watch has the accuracy of a Rolex
I love mine with the white dial.

@@ShouldITimeThis does the rotary balance make noise when you shake your hand??
Regarding watch accuracy, Japanese are GOD-TIER!
Any Orient Kamasu aka Mako 3 coming up? I love your Take. Honest and Unfiltered

hah i follow your cigar channel and to see you pop up for watches tripped me out
Glad you found this channel too! I love watches. Been doing this for a while too. Only recently started picking up the pace though.
Amazing review. Ordered
Where can I buy it?
Awesome video & add more ones

No, some brands do that but some do the smaller marker (as you mentioned) or some just take it away completely because it's not necessary.
Nice review!
Thank you! Many more coming soon..
Just a question, at what time of day does the moon start to appear and what time will it be fully visible with the sun fully hidden? Thanks
Good review
Well done and nice watch
Thanks Tony! Much appreciated..
Nice review
Thanks Maurice!

You're the best :-)
You should have shown the watch on scope in different positions. But over all a nice review and a beautiful watch.

I have a 7in wrist. It's not too big on me. There is a ladies version though (same watch but a smaller diameter).
i have like it too much ! thanks
What do you think the ladies version ?
It's a shame that the ladies version is a quartz movement, but otherwise it's beautiful, and it's a good size (34mm) - not too small..
You are using the strap in the wrong way, clasp side should go at 6 o'clock.
are we going to ignore the wrong roman V at the 10 position??? only happens for the black and blue dials apparently :(
It's NOT the wrong roman numeral. The roman numeral for 10 is "X." That's an X but the bottom half is cut off because of the wide date window.
What about the IIII instead of IV?
All watches with roman numerals use IIII instead of IV, obviously for aesthetics.

where can you find and purchase this watch?

does this watch has Fluorescence?
You mean luminescence? No.
I like
Get a Hirsch Urban (one of the best rubber strap ,looks leather)

orient- great watches, crappy straps! i swapped mine out before i even put it on.
Agreed! Yeah right after this video I took the strap off of this one too and replaced it with something better.
@@ShouldITimeThis what kind of strap did you replace it with?
Awfull music
Well now you know to stay away from my channel, and that's a win.
