Shawn being a secret crackshot is one of the best parts of the show even tho it was rarely featured. Just adds to the persona

@@makeda6530 it’s wholesome how the entire episode that he gets shot is just him utilizing the skills his dad taught him as a kid to survive. Capped off with shooting out an engine lefty while hanging off a car going 70 mph
I don't know what it is about the baby shampoo joke but the "No more tear's Jules" is one of my favorite punchlines of all time.

That shootout scene in Gus and Shawn apartment always makes me laugh with how drugged Gus is acting then when he says "someone shot that guy's TV!".
And he loves taffy!!

The ending bit of Shawn Takes A Shot In The Dark when Lassie calls Shawn detective is honestly so wholesome. It’s after that episode Lassie really begins to see and appreciate the detective skills Shawn has and his commitment to solving crimes.
"Which Spencer are you talking to?!"
"It doesn't matter; you're the same person!!!"
For me, that episode was a turning point for the entire group. Shawn and Henry started really improving their relationship after this episode, and the group just really learned how to work together and learned how much they meant to each other. Even Lassie, for all his stoicness, was worried about Shawn. He was willing to leave his brand new car in order to find Shawn.
That was one of my favorite episodes. 😊
Plus that's the first - and I think only - time that Lassie calls Shawn by his first name - "If Shawn really is shot..."
That’s my favorite episode of the whole series. I liked how it upped the seriousness, and I felt like it REALLY showcased James Roday’s acting abilities!
Shawn having a ruptured appendix, yet still yelling “quarter Black” is amazing. 😅

There are episodes I like more than others, but this is the only show I’ve enjoyed the entire run. Each season is a chefs kiss. And frankly, I hope they keep making the movies forever

@@LOLumbrella no it didn't, the result would have been the same if they simply ran to the side.
They had no way to know how big the explosion was going to be. We can see they could have run to the side, but the characters had every right to assume it would be bigger and so jumped into the pool. Also it’s more dramatic.
There are a lot of technical answers to the question but we all know the real answer is because it is much funnier and this is a television show at the end of the day.

Psych and Scrubs had the best tv bromances
Okay, Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark is a great episode, probably one of my favorites (and I also learned Collective Soul had a new CD out when I heard the song for the first time during the chase scene), but the one real misstep is at 8:58, Shawn just flew off the hood of that car. No one can hang on to a car that flips a quick u-turn at highway speeds. If someone is hanging on your car like that, you need to come to a gradual stop.
I'm surprised the video lasts only 10 mins...

Great, I was already rewatching it so let’s gooooo! They dodged death so often, barely. Lol
i love this series. but were is the one shawn was in the trunk of a car and he escaped and there was a gasstation he was hiding in with chimebells. etc etc.
on the first one why did they jump into the pool when the had plenty of time to get to the side stairs and second one This should have been the whole world during covid or else the world wouldn't of had a pandemic also course Shawn carries shampoo with him lol third one Technically Shawn wasn't close to death he had a serious and in some cases natural medical emergency and he got properly treaded and he was fine no worry's it's not like he almost died fourth one if those to wanted answers why did they drug Gus they would have been better off threatening him at gun point he would have sang like a school girl ( no offence Gus😊👍) fifth one Dang it dude why did you go Woo it's not like they dropped their guns cause as soon as you did that they new you were lying lol c'mon son and sixth one that moment actually made me worry when watching all the Yin and Yang episodes but it was nice hearing Gus admit that even though it's been hard and he and Shawn have almost died it was still fun and he wouldn't change a thing😊and did not expect mr Yang to die that way seventh one yeah no lie that was a pretty stupid idea of Shawn and if I were there I'd be running with Gus like NOPE I'm out lol eighth one I don't remember much from that episode surprisingly but it look pretty worrying so yeah worth noting so other that that no comment on that last one 🍍
