Very interesting. I had no idea there were oscilator functions in the procedural texture filter, so thanks for demonstrating that. My question is how would you use a one of these gradients in a higher resolution image and if it were not square?
The procedural texture will fill the entire document but you may wish to change the width value, w, to height, h, especially if it is a very wide image. I sometimes do that when making a background for my dual monitor system.
