Hi, I'm from Taiwan. It's nice to have a chance to tell you a history story about Taiwan by this video. It's about the history of Taiwan and Japan. Taiwan was one of the colonies of Japan from 1895 to 1945. It was a complicated era for Taiwan people. For example, Taiwan people were an inferior citizen in The Great Japan Empire. And Japanese police bullied Taiwan people often happened in Taiwan society at that time. But Japan government did actually improved Taiwan people's quality of life. So many Taiwan people who had lived during the colonial era have very complicated experience in Japan, such as my 80-year-old grandfather. Hoping that can help you. :)))))
