lol I thought that too but it has that rect. panel on both sides. You can see it later on after they show the suit being made.

Untreated cotton is still superior to poly-based clothing, regarding heat/flame resistance.
Science backs this, I know it from experience.

I wonder what would happen if you made a piece of fabric from the first factory and covered the secound factories fambric in it would it be stylish but the moment you got hit by something extremely hot is would save your life?

Nice! Now if only those fire suits could be put into a consumer-base that didn't require them to cost multiple thousands of dollars a suit.

They should order all these clothes for all workers in high-risers and the airplanes too. They can have a parachutes and these clothes too. They should ask for height ,weight, hair color sex eye color. Etceteras. To keep everyone safe. They should have them in the firetrucks too

@Serostern I'm a firefighter and that's not true. Cotton WITH kevlar or another type of heat resistant fiber is the way to go. It doesn't go up like gasoline but i wouldn't want to be wearing it in a house fire.

Here just because I’m curious how my welding jackets are made. But yeah cotton is a must for light welding but it won’t stop the sparks from blowing through it and burning your skin.

@nathanial41 Really, A heavy denim fibre won't catch, unless you throw it on a bonfire =P
I would also prefer kevlar over cotton if I was entering a burning house thou ^^

cotton flame retardant fabric is suitable for protective overalls, because it is comfortable to wear. and it is good fire - proof flame - retardant effect.

Fire Retardant (FR) fabrics, also commonly known as Flame Retardant fabrics, are textiles specially developed with properties that will not support the spread of flames.

I like to weave Vibranium into my clothes so I'm not only fireproof but bulletproof as well.

You may become bullet puncture resistant but your skeleton must endure the pinpoint blunt force.
