I love kotatsu! When I was a child, I fell asleep in kotatsu all the time. It is so comfy!

Kotatsu brings warmth and family togetherness.
I enjoyed playing card games on the kotatsu with my parents and siblings every winter.
It's a good memory , I do it with my new family as well. Kotatsu is one of the most recommended winter items in Japan.
That's awesome! I want to find a place to stay for a month sometime in the winter with a Kotatsu!

4:16 This is my opinion as a Japanese person. If it's a large area, it's a good thing for kids to be kids. Where this is no good is in restaurants, public transportation, etc. I feel that Japan today is too strict on children's behavior.

For the future, if you need to grab something inside the gates but are not taking a train the gate office will sometimes let you through or give you a special pass so you can hop in if you ask them. We do it sometimes to get the train station stamps or even popping into my favorite bakery chain. We return to Japan again and again with our kids to enjoy memories of when we lived there and we are so overjoyed to see you all love it as much as we do.
I guess it is rather hori gotatsu (kotatsu built into the floor). So this is from 2023. I assume that you have come back to Japan this year already.

Yes this was in November. We will be back in Tokyo in 3 weeks. And we are almost caught up on videos so they will be coming out much closer to when we film them.

Some place like this kind of lively crowded area turned into the name of somewhere GINZA.

If you are staying in the Tokyo area now, I recommend viewing the wisteria flowers.
Ashikaga Flower Park is wonderful. You can take a one-day bus tour from Tokyo.
The fragrance of wisteria is said to be stronger at night. The lighting up at night has started ✨
