I had the same issue with the weird brackets, but the correct brackets shipped in a separate box and it all worked out.
Hi. Thanks for the comment. yea I got the different brackets shipped separately as well. they fit. but for some reason where that 6 gauge is located, I had to smush one way or the other, would prefer it was on side so no fear of damaging wires.
Did you have to request the separate brackets? The pair that came zip tied to the unit do not fit. I didn’t get separate box
