I got chills down my spine when it accelerated past while going down the road.
This Cadillac has some of the nicest lines of any Cadillac. The front fenders are so prominent, with the sharp creases on the top edge and front.
Beautiful cars are a thing of the past. You simply can’t buy a beautiful new car anymore. To my eyes all the new cars are UGLY.
That’s why I drive an old Eldorado!

On a scale of one to ten this Cadillac is a 1,000 in my book, one fine ride, like the whole black an wide white walls look,it's like it says "I'm formal?...but I like to party" lol

What a beautiful car. How refreshing it is to see a veteran Cadillac untouched by "ghettoization" by some Black who has gotten hold of one of these old gorgeous birds and tried to recreate it, we've seen over all these years.
I still regret selling my 1966 GTO to one of them. I had no choice. I was a college kid and needed the money back in 1974. I saw it once around a year after I sold it to him and didn't recognize it. It had all sorts of cheap badges and crap all over it. Wish I had it back.

    Don't sell it!!!!!! AAAGH!!!!!
If I were to own this Ride, I'd friggin live in it if I had to!!
This was the last year of the awesome Caddys!!! From '71 on up, they got cheaper and cheaper.
'70 was the last year of the DeVille as a DeVille, although it said DeVille, they seemed to be more like an Impala with a couple of Caddy emblems and trinkets.
They killed off the monster v8 in 73, or 74! Big gas crunches in the early and mid 70s, plus the advent of unleaded only, and catalytic converters did them in further.
My dad had a sweet 70 aqua coupe D with white top, and white leather interior. The thing floated like nothing else, you could literally turn the steering wheel with your pinky. I was sad when he sold it for something more.... *Gulp!*.... practical. Different times though. I was lucky enough to catch the tail end of the last best generation. Too young to understand, but old enough to remember how things were then.

Imo in the top three designs of the Coupe Deville. I had an Aunt who owned this year in a four door. Let's say She didn't hurt for money After dropping us off she handed my brother and me a nickel each lol.

Now that's how you drive a Cadillac those motors have 375 horsepower or higher they were awesome and they couldn't wait to be put on the freeway because those cars have to drive at least at 70 miles an hour tops to feel good.

For those who haven't figured it out yet, the Michael Moore who owned this is not the same fat piece of garbage responsible for Fahrenheit 911 and other ridiculous 'political' crap. Far from the same person. So think before you comment :P. But beautiful car! Would love to give it a home if I had room for another caddy!

Those wide white walls gotta go, they are not at all period correct. Just sayin. Can't imagine why you are driving that car so hard, slammin doors, hangin hard turns and slammin on the brakes, man, sell it to someone that will love it, not kill it.

I don't know why Cadillac neglected the steering wheel. It looks like black rubber. Cadillac could have color keyed it to coordinate with the color of the interior.
