The Molotok is based off of the MiG 17, not the MiG 19. The MiG 19 had a dual engine configuration, the MiG 17 had a single engine configuration. You can tell its MiG 17 given it has 3 ventral fins on each wing whereas the MiG 15 had only two on each wing.
The Cuban 800 is based off the Cessna 310, not the Twin Comanche. The Twin sits lower on the ground, has a longer nose, and several other key differences. The 800 is almost a 1/1 copy of the Cessna 310.
The video is massively devalued by 75% of the "critiques" being based on design choices, which are deliberate and caused by GTA planes being mixes of multiple real life planes. You know, like their cars. The stuff like physics being wonky are valid though
I’m pretty this guy that can’t take a “video game is a video game, it isn’t supposed to be fucking reality” would comment in a move theater first time seeing a superhero movie and be like “This isn’t how real life is, a guy isn’t just magically bit by a spider and he turns into a spiderman”
all the vehicles in this game are notably different from their irl counterparts, I am not a plane guy but many of the cars are, different enough to notice if you pay attention, to completely non-existent in the real world
id just like to say here that the molotok looks much more like a mig 17 than a mig 19, its a single engine instead of a double engine configuration, the tail looks much more like a mig 17 than the mig 19, the back tapers like the mig 17, and the cockpit has a line of metal running the length of the back window while the mig 19 doesnt, also the most important detail, the wings are rounded instead of having corners just like the mig 17.
Btw the Cessna like aircraft in GTA is based off the Cessna 177 cardinal fixgeared . That's why the window at the back is more round and wider . And the plane you called the beech D-18 is based off of the cessna at-17 bobcat aka the "bamboo bomber" . And if it was based off of the 172 it's landing light positions are correct because the 172NG has landing lights on both wings. Adopted from its beefyer brother the Cessna 182T Turbo Skylane. And for the landing lights those are actually correct for both the Cessna 172 , 177 and 182 which this plane is homologated from . And for the velum . It's kinda a mix of PC-12 and TBM 850 Elite. Because the velum 2 has the TBM 850 elites rear interior as well as it's shape and design is way closer to a Socota Daher TBM 850 Elite than anything . And it's cockpit is somewhat right the TBM does have steam gauges however the elite has the G1000 setup . Not to mention being that the Cessna like plane is homologated from the Cessna 182 ,172 and 177 it shouldn't have a wing strut since the Cessna 177 had an cantilever wing . And that seems to be the wing its based off of.
Absolutely love this video, I've been wanting something like this for so long! Coulda dinged the Learjer 45 for appearing to be a commercial aircraft versus it common use as a private or leased jet
Biggest sins I’ve noticed in gta V is the instruments in first person… honestly they deserve their own video as a lot of planes are just straight up not visible, or in most business jets the attitude indicator doesn’t even function correctly, and in the vellum, the airspeed and vertical speed indicators are swapped… there are likely more as you go.
I’ve noticed the airspeed indicator is usually in the yellow arc even when throttles at idle, even when taking off It goes to the yellow right away, sometimes taxiing. when you pull the power the plane descends rapidly. Airliners today use glass cockpits. I have expectations for Gta6
It's why I stopped play gta 5, the only thing I did on there was fly around, but then I discovered War Thunder a more realistic game for aircraft, granted it has a 1.5x G load increase meaning a aircraft that could only handle 9G's can now handle almost 12G's yet some how has almost the same sustained turn rate only over performing by 1 or 3 degrees. Either way, the point is, GTA is the worst for flying around, id recommend war thunder if... IF, your on console, if your on xbox go for Microsoft Flight simulator, and if your on PC, you get War Thunder, Microsoft Flight Simulator and DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) so if your on pc play what you find most realistic.
As a pilot in real life who began his dream with the Hydra in GTA Online on 2015 i enjoy your videos about the aviation in this game. I always talk with a friend about how realistic will be the flight system on GTA 6 and how precise will be the models of the planes and fighter jets compared to the real life.

As an irl pilot who spends most of the time flying in gta v, I do wish gta 6 will be a bit more realistic when it comes to airports and airplanes. I don’t expect a full on simulator, but just a bit more realistic in terms of aerodynamics and instruments. Also airport markings lol. Hopefully they add the use of flaps on airplanes.
But then again I do understand it’s for fun and it shouldn’t be too complicated for a game not related to flying
Feedback: Nice facts. Expected something else like AI pathing though. Audio needs improvement: I can barely hear you at times and the "shitty mic" moment was kinda the one where audio was very consistent 😅 so it was actually better to understand. My YT is at full volume and it feels to me like you are semi whispering.
there are a lot of planes that you didn't rank is that because they're accurate or what?
mod loader didnt work
You forgot to mention that the LearJet has rectangular windows. Not only is this inaccurate, but dangerous(remember the comet). Therefore, I propose an additional 50 points just for the windows
4:25
Nah you're actually wrong. It's not a perfect 1:1 but it does resemble P-51D
That throttle is recognizable. Then there's trim control and after that flaps control... honestly almost everything is more or less right. It's only missing It's iconic K-14 gunsight.
5:05, wrong, MiG-15 / MiG-17, the MiG-19 is twin engine and has its two cannons in the wing roots (and a 3rd one under the belly on specific variants).
6:52 this is more of a mix between the F-35 and the Su-75, hence the weird tail.
Just a friendly reminder that Rockstar could not make aircrafts identical to their real life counterparts just like the cars, for example thats why the Vestra has 2 turbines, the Sea Breeze has 4 propeller blades and the Hydra has a rear engine so I wouldn't count as a sin
Also, the F-160 Raiju (F-35) can takeoff WITHOUT VTOL with 2 feet of runway
The real shit is, I fly a plane out of a hanger while armed men are shooting at me. Not to mention several preparations for the actual plane I’m flying. And Lester only gives me 20k?! Bro Titan of a Job is a scam let’s be for real.
I like how this video is B7.37minutes long
The Molotok is based off of the MiG 17, not the MiG 19.
I’m pretty this guy that can’t take a “video game is a video game, it isn’t supposed to be fucking reality” would comment in a move theater first time seeing a superhero movie and be like “This isn’t how real life is, a guy isn’t just magically bit by a spider and he turns into a spiderman”
chillout it aint that deep
Some citation sovereigns don’t have wingtips depending on year model most likely
all the vehicles in this game are notably different from their irl counterparts, I am not a plane guy but many of the cars are, different enough to notice if you pay attention, to completely non-existent in the real world
3:23 its Buran not space shuttle btw also the spaceplane part is called orbiter just so you know
again, i love the cinemasins style of critique and i wish more people used it. great work
I think the rouge is based on EMB-214 super tocano because, it can carry weapons unlike the pc-21 witch is a trainer aircraft.
Love your videos!!
id just like to say here that the molotok looks much more like a mig 17 than a mig 19,
its a single engine instead of a double engine configuration,
the tail looks much more like a mig 17 than the mig 19,
the back tapers like the mig 17,
and the cockpit has a line of metal running the length of the back window while the mig 19 doesnt,
also the most important detail, the wings are rounded instead of having corners just like the mig 17.
the Molotok is a combination of the MiG 17 and MiG 19. the Cockpit is the MiG 15's.
The MiG in game is a MiG-17 not a MiG-19
4:10 looks more like it's based of the a-29 super tucano, still wrong prop bc the super tucano has 5 blades
The Hydra is more a mix of the F-35B & AV-8B
And i don’t think a Fighter jet needs a stereo built in like a Car.
I can't wait to see how the pla es will be like in GTA 6
They also have radios to play music and radios which idk if they have in real life
It would be funny if you cover GTA IV's airport & aircraft since that game is "almost" a period piece.
Nah. Why would you bother with that boring ass game?
Absolutely love this video, I've been wanting something like this for so long!
Coulda dinged the Learjer 45 for appearing to be a commercial aircraft versus it common use as a private or leased jet
if you go inside, it looks like a private jet, so I assume its some charter company
The cockpit of the cargo plane looks like a space shuttle one.
this series is super entertaining 😂
The Miljet is pretty clearly based on the C-9 Skytrain.
4:51 no, the crj is 2-2. The erj 145 is 1-2
I’ve noticed the airspeed indicator is usually in the yellow arc even when throttles at idle, even when taking off It goes to the yellow right away, sometimes taxiing. when you pull the power the plane descends rapidly. Airliners today use glass cockpits. I have expectations for Gta6
I'm pretty sure the Alkonost is based off of the TU-160 and the B-1 lancer.
4:56 Typical airliner configs on the CRJ2 has 2-2 seating, you probably mean the ERJs when you're talking about the 2-1 seating
Love your videos man, please keep posting
The problem with the Alkonost is that the wings don't move.
4:11 Looks more like a t6b texan, which has 4 propeller blades
the Beech 18 being so fucked up makes me wanna cry, I love that thing irl
