Hard not to feel deeply moved, by such a spontaneous eruption of pure elation nation-wide across South Africa, at the Heroic "Springboks", Record-breaking Fourth Win of The Rugby World Cup, against according to pundits, seemingly impossible odds. Nelson Mandela's belief and words that,
"Nothing can Unite a Country, Like Sport Can..."!, have never seemed so true. Especially for one like me, who is old enough to remember the, "Dark Days of Apartheid", when the name and emblem of "The Springboks", were detested as being synonymous with an oppressive regime. Fast forward 30 years and they are now a team, inclusive of various ethnic members, whose only criteria for selection, is talent and led by a Captain "Siya Kolisi", who is every bit as iconic as Mandela himself, assisted by a powerhouse support squad, and "The Springboks" can truly represent the modern day "Rainbow Nation", which is South Africa today, even facing problems as so many other nations are. Yet "The Springboks" have shown that with unity, hard work and determination, Nothing is Impossible..!! " GO BOKKE...."!!

Time travel needs to step up its game! [Somebody invent a Time Machine...already]
Four years feels like an eternity! I'm already having separation anxiety from the Rugby World Cup. Seriously, can we fast-forward to the year 27 of 2000? Time in between RWC, is like that friend who takes forever to respond in the group chat. I swear my TV remote is stuck on the sports channel, and I keep yelling 'scrum' at the grocery store. I've started naming my furniture after rugby players.. Rassie can be my time travel coach - he knows how to strategize for anything, even temporal leaps! Imagine the tactics: sidestep through decades, execute a perfect lineout throwback to the past, and, of course, employ the 'Boks to the Future'.
