Weak year for animation??? This is a super solid year for animation. Several low budget indie movies, and the front runner is a big studio movie that’s original and beautiful. This is a great year for animation idk, last year nominated Elemental which was a stinker, no stinkers this year
There’s some chance that I’m Still Here wins against Emilia Perez, but we need you guys to do your part and watch the movie. It’s been campaigning hard but voters need to watch it.
I think everybody needs to calm down because Emilia Perez it’s not going to win as many Oscars as they think it’s going to. I firmly believe it’s only going to win a max of two or three. I think we will see multiple movies win one or two Oscars and I don’t see one film sweeping this year like Oppenheimer did.

Gooch saying recency bias is dead when it feels as if it’s the most apparent it’s been in years is wild. I have a special connection to Challengers and Dune so I know I myself am biased and it’s more magnified to me but these were so unanimously loved when they released and are being out nommed by Emilia Perez and Wicked man!!! Chalamet stepped into one of the most polarizing roles ever and nobody has said a single sentence about it because his “other” movie came out recently. The fact that performance has just been wiped off the face of the earth in Oscar dialogue is unreal. If you can’t tell, I’m pissed!

@OrionInSpace barbie was a blockbuster those dont do well at awards usually. Emelia perez is pushed heavily behind the scenes by netflix and is such a hollywood elite thing to vote for. A movie about trans and mexican issues heavily panned by trans and Mexican people lol they love to white knight minority stories (white french guy who knows nothing about mexico made it)

I loved Sebastian Stan in The Apprentice. I disagree with y'all because he was just incredible in that role. I don't know how he made it work. He was amazing
