I really approach and enjoy your videos - questions: What would you recommend Either 1502 or two MC275s bridged as mono? What would be the pro/con with going one way or the other? Would be curious if you have done an A/B comparison or if you could do a video that talks to and does the comparison between these two options? Related beside power how do the other specs for a mono bridged MC 275 change? How does the overall characteristics of the sound and performance change in mono bridged mode? I also understand the when the MC285 is bridged -it’s parallel bridged”… can you please explain this method of bridging to a mono mode on a stereo amp vs other approaches? If you can do a program or a video on these questions it would be greatly appreciated
I think I enjoyed the “going off the rails” portion the best. You guys had me reminiscing about my younger days and I agree with your new guest /commentator(Lewis or Louis, apologies if I got his name wrong), Earth, Wind & Fire are my all time favorite band. Grew up listening to them in the 70’s high school days. Really enjoyed the blend of product review with life experiences...Good job guys!👍👍
This was a good one guys. Hearing it in this way sounds more genuine than someone looking for superlatives to fill in the blanks. Integrating the reviews with personal experiences that can only come with age leaves all the sales talk at the door. If I could subscribe twice I would.
Another great review. Yeah it's too bad that amp is so expensive. Sounds like macintosh has been hitting it out of the park lately with their new amps. These videos are great when you bring in guests talking equipment and music. It would be great to have more since Jay is no longer there. And also some of your us subribers (me) would love to learn more about Canadian audiophiles . Thanks for the review, music and stories!
Very Very Enjoyable review!!! Loved hearing the variety of music you played thru the 1502... More Lewis for sure!!! 1/2 hour long... wish it had been 1 hour.. Well Done!!!
Would you recommend using an MC1502 instead of using 2 x MC275 bridged? What would be your recommended PreAmp Model to perfectly match the MC275 or MC1502? Appreciate your thoughts and your recommendations. Thank you!
OMG ... first of all I want to meet Lewis! Then there’s the stories of Kensington Market and Eglington ... beef patties and jerk sauce. I MISS TORONTO!!!
OMG Sonic Frontiers does that bring back memories of some very pleasant Saturday afternoons. My favorite Tube Amp back in their heyday. Too bad Paradigm does not launch a division that further develops the line. Would love a listen to the 1502, hopefully my local dealer will stock one and the matching preamp.
Love the reviews. Just wondering if you can do a headphone amp review. That would be great. A lot of folks are working from home and listening to headphones. I am trying out three different headphone systems. But am getting interested in trying the Benchmark HPA4 preamp/headphone amp. That would have a lot of utility for me as I also have a pair of Benchmark AHB2 Monoblocks in a speaker system that I can mate with it when not using it on my headphone station. Thanks.
I paired the 1502 with the 2700 and Wilson Audio Sasha’s DAW, it it sounds amazing, I had to do some work to make it sounds from good to amazing but is worth it!!!
Best tear jerker song ever is Monsters by James Blunt! Even in his music video he is crying! Thats the whole video, him crying!🤯🤯 Between the top rate recording quality and the song lyrics it's a master piece!🤧🤧 Heck, I'm crying now! Just listen to it before posting this justvto make sure it still delivers!😉😇 Doesn't help that my Dad passed away in the setting the song talks about!😭🙄😇 20 years ago.
@@raykuiper4979 well, they say too much of a good thing is bad for you, and Jay was definitely that, so perhaps he's done it for the good of humanity. Although, I'll just watch him on his own channel now instead 😅 And continue to watch this channel, obviously.
Ya gotta agree, I respect the company and from a purely business perspective I get the attraction for Adrian, but sonically there are different manufacturers that offer similar quality and different sonic flavors I prefer. CODA being one, Ayre and Audio Research some others. I suppose their margins perhaps are not quite as generous for retailers, maybe that is why you do not see that many retailers that carry them?
Your videos are too long IMO. I am in the market for a sound system but can't use your videos for gaining information due to their length, which sounds like a shame because you folks seem to be knowledgable. If you were to also compile the summary points in the form of a higher-bandwidth flow of information, that would appeal to a broader mass of watchers.
Lewis doesn’t know much about the product you were reviewing. Isn’t that the point of the video. I’d like more info on the amp bc id like to purchase one, not hear stories from lewis. Boooo lewis.
Totally agreed with your comments on MC1502, I purchased MC1502, C22 and TAD CE1 combination after 5 months auditioned so many good expensive gears.
Love this format you guys just chatting and relaying personal stories,Lewis is a great character.
PLEASE HAVE THAT CUSTOMER IN MORE VIDEOS HE IS A REALLY GREAT STORYTELLER.

Really like what you are saying there Adrian with how the amp 'grabbed you by the heart" and had you listening to the words....

So you gave a very good review of the C8 Pre.... How do you think the C8 Pre would pair with the MC1502?
Very Very Enjoyable review!!! Loved hearing the variety of music you played thru the 1502... More Lewis for sure!!! 1/2 hour long... wish it had been 1 hour.. Well Done!!!

Hopefully you’ll review the 1502 powering a pair of Wilson speakers! Thank you for your great videos!

Really enjoy you guy's keep up your great work.
Great review. Can you guys look at the Anthem STR amp & preamp? I believe it’s a Canadian company. I would like to hear your thoughts on this product.

29:04 ohh i was thinking he was from jamaica..
Now the whole video makes sense..lol
Very very nice
Since you guys never did post an unboxing video of the MC1502, I know a guy who did do one 🙃You should look him up...
i do see the unboxing video on the channel.

I really liked Jay... he is indeed missed
Why couldn’t talk about the amp and lose the guy who goes off topic almost the entire time.
Oh, man. I'm So glad Jay's gone!
Jay will return, Jay is temporarily gone for go some other Pfads, one day he will be back .with some more luggage ,which brings us further.
