Why is everyone here flared up with what Chuck said, it's true. If you watched the game you can see that Ant is gassed up going up and down the court. He's not making an excuse for Ant, he's pointing out that getting deep in the playoffs is taking a toll on Ant which is true and he's experiencing it for the first time.
The issue is the fact that the media makes this excuse for Ant while having completely different standards for Joker and Luka (and surprisingly even Tatum at times).
In their cases they always shred the. for a bad game, belittle their impact and so it is just natural that when people think you are purposefully lying for years they will become hostile towards you.

You're probably wondering why a 22 year old Anthony Edwards is so tired compared to an "overweight" Luka and Kyrie, who's in his 30s.
That's because of his size.
Because of the additional muscle mass Ant-Man put on, he has experienced an increase in physical strength, however, a decrease in stamina. In basketball, a Gaurd like Edwards needs more stamina than anybody else, unfortunately for Ant, he prioritized strength/mass over stamina. An example of this is when Trunks was fighting against Cell in Dragonball Z.
Victor Wembanyama spoke about this earlier in the season. He understood why he can't just put on a lot of mass because it would sacrifice a lot of his agility. Ant-Man didn't get the memo, and in his current state, he can't use his gaurd skills over a long period of time.

Anthony Edwards is a really, really good NBA player. He is NOT great. He is nowhere near Michael Jordan. Great NBA players show up at playoff times. Did you see Jaylon Brunson of the Knicks? He's shorter than 6'2", yet he consistently got to the spot on the court he wanted and scored the bucket. Some were three's, but many were mid and short-range. That is a great player. I have yet to see Anthony Edwards do that.

Ant just need to choose his spots wisely on defense. Jordan was great at choosing his spot offensively and defensively. His IQ was top notch to know when to rest and to go at you for the kill. Guys. He's 22. This is what you get with a 22 year old. Flashes of his incredible talent but a lot of mistakes, inefficient nights, and not being used to competing this hard this deep into the season.
I've given this speech when i see people roast Tatum for not having a ring yet. Do you know when most Super Stars win their first title? Around 27 or 28. Steph, Lebron, Jordan, Shaq, Isiah Thomas, Jokic, Gannis, Hakeem, Dirk. All were 27 or older when they finally won it. Most of the guys who won it young like Magic had an older Kareem or Kobe had an older Shaq. And Kobe didn’t win one without Shaq until he was around that prime age in his late 20s. You guys kept comparing him to Jordan, you know what Jordan was doing at 22? Failing to beat the Pistons and Celtics. Guess he's a bum choker, too? This is why i didn't buy into the Wolves and Thunder this post season but i think they both have a lot to be optimistic about in the future. Just way too young right now.
It's stupid to put all that on a 22 year old. This isn't like football where Patrick Mahomes wins a title in 2 years after getting drafted. It takes 7 or 8 years of developing your game, your shot, your experience, seeing looks, and improving nutrition and conditioning to get to that point where you lead a team as a star to a title. I expect him to have some rough playoff nights and some great moments for years to come. And you clowns will call him a bum for it because it's about instant gratification.
