The three walker monster wasn't really a mutant but kind of 3 glued together from being tangled like that. Very horror. The tension in this series is great.

The fused walker is awesome
The three combined walker is what i want to see more in the TWD universe. It was grose and amazing at the same time and gave me Resident Evil vibes 😄
I got so excited when I learned that Lisa Emery would be a part of this show. She was so amazing in The Ozark.

I've been lurking for a while but this episode of DC is one of my favourites of the very short season. I feel like Dead City has this great horror element where you're constantly on edge with how crazy the Croat is, the torture and that terrifying spider-walker!! For me personally Ginny stressed me out in this one, and I wasn't too upset by Tomasso's and Amaia's deaths because I didn't really feel too much attachment to them. And finding out that the Croat is yet again in that henchman role for someone else who seems to be in their Sanctuary era shall we call it just broadens everything so much more. Can't wait for the finale!
Love it when a show tugs at your emotions and excitement. Totally enjoying it again with you guys. Pretty sure it was Ginny who wrote the Liar graffiti on those sewer pipes. She's loyal to Negan. All right, ready for the finale, let's go 😉
With the original WD the creators relied on the comic book for some story direction! With the three spinoffs, it is difficult to predict things because we are in uncharted waters!
This might not be the best spin off but its definetely the darkest. It has this unconfortable, uncanny aura that was missing from the show since season 1. Really liked the plot twist as well
I'm loving Dead City and the broken down city. It's so cool to see NYC like this and so looking forward to your reactions to DD! Trin especially will appreciate Daryls show!
Rewatching Dead City with you guys made me appreciate this show even more -- thanks! Maggie would still have known that The Croat knew Negan because, as she said in Episode 1, he greeted her w the infamous Savior whistle. That part could have still been true; Maggie just lied to Negan about making a deal w The Croat. Also, yeah. Can't blame Maggie for agreeing to the trade and then having the whole mission trigger her PTSD about Glenn's death.
There is definitely a S2 they are filming in now

7:00 There's an actual theory going around that the guy with the axe in the head is actually Paul from the webisode TWD:The Oath, who painted the "Don't Open, Dead Inside" text on the doors in the hospital where Rick was after he lost his girlfriend Karina from the crazy nurse. If you take a closer look, you can see that the corpse has the same shirt as Paul (and the same long blond hair) and also the fact there was the same message on the doors of the building written in the same way tells alot. Who knows, maybe after losing Karina, Paul went to New York looking for something or someone, only to lose his mind completely and kill himself 🤔
Probably just a nod, at most. I don't think Paul's wearing the same shirt 13 years later.
@@DontTakeThisSeriously616 depends on when he commited the suicide, if it was him. Like, if it happened shortly after he left the hospital, I don't think he would've wore something different. And given the corpses look, it's definitely been dead for a long ass time.

@@DontTakeThisSeriously616 didn't you read my comment lol, I said he could've traveled to New York looking for something, then he's holed up in that building with the "Don't Open dead inside" mark on the door and had slowly succumbed to his craziness after losing everything, gathering those dools in the rooms etc. Then he's killed himself
@@Ivo-ic1qf That doesn't line up with the current timeline established. They mentioned in Dead City that, similar to how LA and Atlanta were bombed, New York had all the bridges blown out almost immediately after the outbreak (when he would've been at the hospital) had started so no one could get in or out. I also don't think he's travelling 20+ hours through a fresh apocalypse to New York and making it to inaccessible Manhattan, hanging around long enough to lose his sanity, build all the weird effigies but not changing clothes and killing himself.

Is starting to get a bit annoying with Maggie and negan going back and forth back and forth. Just get over it because it's starting to get boring.
