Had the pleasure of meeting Tom Thayer at a Walmart signing in countryside IL. I'll be honest took me a min I watched from afar before I came up. I only came up there for milk n cookies lol had no money for autograph or nothing. And he grabbed a beer cuzi and a picture of his playing playing days and signed it and took pic with me anyways. Awesome most down to earth guy. 85 bears baby!!!
It’s funny you mention Wisconsin as a whole (not mentioning any particular main towns or cities) but only mention Chicago instead of Illinois as a whole; Our main city is your entire state’s population 😅 The historical landmarks, daytime activities, night life and restaurant scene is literally world class my guy, sit down please your Vegeta is showing. @@chrisrakow9745 Wisconsin's population is more than double Chicago's and all you're really doing is bragging about how many assholes you can fit in one city. I didn't include the entire state because those outside the city at least have some sense and are more like regular folks. The last time I was in Chicago I couldn't wait to leave but maybe it's just me...then again lot's of residents are leaving for good as well. Forget the activities, the "night life" and the restaurant scene especially...I absolutely kill it in the kitchen to the point of never eating out ever again and I can make anything and everything. While it's diverse, not what I'd call world class. About the only thing I'd be interested in visiting again is the museum of science and industry but not enough to go to Chicago again. If you've only got 18 androids, you best keep them at home in your mom's basement. Cheers!

All you’re proving is how much of a rural, provincial rube you can be. Soft living creates weak mindsets and tough times create hardy folk. The city of the big shoulders is what we’re named (because we work and play hard for and with our families and communities) Chicago invented the skyscraper, the atom bomb, the first public use of city wide electricity, and so many wonders or historical nexus points or water shed moments that the world would be poorer or completely different in the Arts/Sciences/Civil Rights, for it with out us.. Aaaand Wisconsin is known for cheese and beer (simple pleasures to be enjoyed for sure, but no lasting legacies other than simple townies making their way in life for their own selves - little to no real world changes). We could argue all day but you started a debate/fight you can never truly win. The test of time proves out the winners and those that didn’t - can’t get more simple than that. Don’t talk Issh about anyone’s home if you can’t handle them firing back. Eff around and find out… But the price of worldly knowledge, societal progress or influential power is always the loss of etiquette and banishment of ignorance. Wisconsin is so much fun Illinoisans all go there for vacation. Chicago sucks so bad everyone with a lick of sense is leaving for good.
