TRES MIL NOTAS (Vicente Amigo) - BEN WOODS - Flamenco Guitar

- My arrangement of 'Tres Notas para Decir Te Quiero' by Vicente Amigo. I took out all the elevator jazz moments and replaced them with a million notes of shredding. Learn it here: benwoods.sellf...\
Con mucho respecto y cariño al gran maestro Vicente Amigo for his awesome music! I'm just putting my own spin on it. It's a fantastic song, but the trumpet and the jazz scatting with the overall smooth jazz and mellow "elevator" vibe of the original was just begging for me to do an overhaul.
Help me out and hit subscribe now, like it, hit the notifications please. Do it now please, it shows me you care. Thank you SO MUCH I really appreciate your support!

El mejor guitarrista acustico que he visto en mis tiempos, BenWoods combina metal jazz, flamenco, soca, barroco, todo en uno sin necesidad de otro guitarrista, el lo hace todo. felicitaciones. Yo creo que esta por encima de meola.

I LOVE V AMIGO I CAN PLAY THIS SONG TOO.... I WOULD LOVE FOR U TO DO A REMIX OF THE SONG CALLED LAS CUATRO LUNAS U WILL LOVE IT U KNOW THIS!!!!
Hi Ben.. You are always unique in this Flamenco genre if I may comment.. 👏Like once you said a scale run can be executed with a pick style using an index nail* and if one couldn't really achieve the traditional picado*/ apoyando i, m as an option.. Until one developes the traditional i, m picado when the rest of the aspects of a song is well learnt we need not hold on playing for this little picado* drawback., I really appreciate the idea Ben.. You could play any flamenco standards despite this picado drawback and it is quite encouraging indeed.. 👍Thanks Ben.. 🙏Warm cheers😊
Thank you. I use this alternative to avoid a hand injury that was starting.
@@BenjaminWoods Oh, I see.. You mean, Picado* was causing hand injury or discomfort or so.. Like what..?! Could you please reply in detail Ben if you don't mind., as it may be a great help to newly attempting folks of the Picado*.. Well, do you use any nail tonic** for keeping the nails less fragile.. I guess you do.. Infact I am using a neutral colour nail polish* (1.Sally Hansen - Nail Strenthener & 2. Calcium - Nail treatment).. It does serve the purpose to a reasonable extent..
I was basically a Rock guitarist for decades back and then picked up Classical guitar since '78 and also teaching currently.. Also took up Flamenco since a decade now.. Have played a few standards on my UA-cam (GuitSiva) channel.. But a few technical aspects like picado* and 4 - note tremolo (piami) is not upto my satisfaction although I am working on it slowly.. Anyway, I am hopeful that I would get it rather fluently someday..
By the way, like I used to improvise in Rock & Blues on the Electric gear knowing my limits and enjoy.. But, unable to do an Impromptu* free style in Flamenco genre.. Don't get an idea as yet on this aspect although I play pieces by sight-reading mostly note for note.. Ben, could you give me some tips** on this aspect of improvisation in Flamenco music.. Would appreciate.. 👍
Thanks so much for your time in reading my lines here.. 🙏Warm cheers and greetings for the NewYear 2022..🎸🎼God bless.. 🙏
1:50. What time is it?? Lol nice one Ben!
HAHA!
Wow Ben! Fantastic! Some of your riffs bring Armik to mind! Any chance you'll be coming to Dallas, TX in 2022?
Thank you. I hope so
Amazing, as usual! The energy you give the pieces takes a special talent.
Question. Do you like rosewood back and sides with a spruce top combo or is a cedar top,the way to go. I currently have a Cordoba gk studio and I want to upgrade.
Thanks for the great music!
This one is my signature guitar the BWSM2 by Ortega guitars, cedar top, walnut back and sides. Thank you Toni
Ben, how many flamenco guitar techniques are out there. I include these one that are a must. 6-7-8?
I think there are about 7, but there are many variations on how to play each technique that are wildly different
Olé
Gracias
Hi Ben, any chance you could cover something by John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra (patiently holding my breath…)?
Thank you. aybe some day, I love M.O.
One question Ben , when you did your last rasgueado , were your middle ,ring and thumb flexible and loose with the motion or fixed ( just it is confusing to handle this speed with such strong strumming 😢)? Hope you answer with brief advice ♥️ all love to your outstanding performance ♥️
Thank you! Pretty much just thumb and middle finger
Beautiful, do you think it’s possible to play that kind of style with fingertips or a combination of fingertip picks and fingertips?
he just did!!!!
Thank you Tad. Whatever it takes to get the music out of the guitar is what I use
Proceeds to utilize every technique possible lol
Thank you Crow
Are you going to be teaching how to play this for your subscribers?
This one is pretty advanced, but maybe. It may take a few lessons to get through. I'm sorry I havent done a lesson in a while, I've been dealing with some challenges.
FA-NTA-STI-CO
Sorry but the jazz ""elevator"" noises are cool. This is not bad, but it doesn't feel right
Art is subjective, to each his own
Thanks for your effort sir; big dislike.
Thank you?
