Totally agree. Thanks to UA-cam, we get to hear cuts other than the New York Animal show, boots from Germany, Boston etc... The intros are so damn good, and totally different each time. This would have been one of the ultimate tours to follow.
Having so many times heard the same instrumental as an intro to Sweet Jane, this sounds awkward to me. I imagine if I'd always heard this arrangement, I'd love it.
@@weaponsetc He sounds more laidback than on Lou Reed Live -- maybe it was the "cold medicine" combined with whatever else he took that night. Still cool though.
This is wild to hear how the famous intro, a glorious masterpiece, evolved. Great videos, my good friend!
Deliciosas guitarras, contundente sección rítmica, envolvente Hammond, viciosa voz!
Yes, I played it sometimes on tour.
Those guitars are incredible!!!
I miss Lou.
Great to hear another version of the iconic RR animal tour….. if I could go back in time to see it, I would have gone to every show he did in 1973.

This intro is supposed to go into Sweet Jane - they try to flow into Vicious instead here but it doesn't really work
WAGNER ....HUNTER..
So does anyone know, when they opened the show with Vicious, did they play Sweet Jane later in the set? 🤔
fantastic, thanks you very much.please do you have the complete concert ?
The whole concert is released on record, Rock N Roll Animal is one half, Lou Reed Live is the other.
Now listening, I think it's actually an earlier show sorry.
@@Trent_Moorman The Rock and Roll Animal / Lou Reed Live concert was recorded in NYC. This clip is from Boston.
Is this from a bootleg with the entire concert? Is it available somewhere?
du er ond
wow, this is great. lou's voice sounds really raw.
An article about the following gig says he had a cold - definitely sounds like it
