I bought a set of Opel Astra h lights from eBay for my Saturn Astra (USA). The high/low is a bit different so it took some rewiring. My problem now is that the xenon's will not work. The relay chatters for a few seconds and then cuts out. Any ideas?
Hello Opelpedia, on the shop where we can buy it, said that this is not suitable with AFL cornering xenon lights, so I have question:) Is there a way to put this on the car with cornering lights? its not full suitable for cars with afl? different connections or what?:)

+opelpedia Okay, I've ordered headlights and they should arrive next tuesday. In the meantime I will look for appropriate xenon kit. For high beam I'm planning to choose Osram Nightbreaker.
+opelpedia One more question. Solution for highbeam is Nightbreaker. Regarding lowbeam, normally halogen lights are 55W, if I put 35W I believe that checkcontrol will report a problem. I found kit which is D2S 55W 5000K. This is also proper solution, isn't it? Regards, Nikolay
+Nikolai Manev you can also use D2S 55W 5000K, in case they will start blinking you will need to add a cheater. we will discuss this matter if the necessity arise

Nice 🙂 I know where theese headlights are from...They are from eBay ... I wanted them, too. But in the announcement was written that they wouldn't fit on a car with halogen. It had to be a car with Xenon. Probably because in germany you also need those headlight washer, if you drive a car with Xenon (which I don't have). Do you have them?

Hi where did you buy these from because of mixed description of item and info from seller I asked if they were for rhd he stated no only for lhd. Also my car has no ballasts as it is halogen do u need to add ballasts. There is a site mars performance in Australia and there description and illustration picture is on a rhd vehicle so I'm confused will they work on a original halogen fitted vehicle do as described in video and will I be good to go

Hello, I bought the same optical blocks except that the conectic behind the block is a halogen conectic, I mounted H9 LEDs in the block because they are H9 which goes up on it. The low beams work perfectly, but the high beams come on 4 to 5 seconds then go out, someone can help me please. The LEDs are fitted with CAN-BUS modules.

salut, mi'a placut video dar am o nelamurire. am avut un opel astra din 2004 1.7 cdti, h 101 cai, am avut probleme cu o valvola gr, ma costa in jur de 500 euro numai valvola, din cate am inteles valvola gr deschidea si inchidea turbina pentru a ajuta masina , turbina imi pleca dupa 130km/h, sau uneori imi dadea erori si numai tragea deloc masina, am un prieten care are aceeasi problema cu valvola gr, mi'ati putea raspunde daca si voi aveti aceeasi problema si daca da sau nu, de ce la modelele astra au aceeasi problema, care ar fi motivul ,ms mult
ba da dar imi dadea eroare la peste 3000. cand normal intra turbina, ma rog numai am acel opel care imi face probleme, as vrea sa iau altu dar mie frica ca o sa am aceeasi problema plus ca are consumul f mic motor de 1.7 101cv :D undeva la 6;5 in oras si 5 in afara

Cand turbina nu iti functioneaza ( cum am patit eu ) abia urca in ture si la 2000 moare ( problema cu electrovalva turbo ) Ai grija sa nu ai tija rupta la galeria de admisie , desfa capacul motorului si uita-te sa vezi daca iti deschide clapetele cand o turezi . Daca nu , inseamna ca ai tija rupta = alta galerie de admisie ( NEAPARAT NOUA ) , te va duce in jur de 950 lei de la Pierburg sau 1500 lei GM ( iti recomand Pierburg , sunt amandoua la fel , difera marca ) + 300-350 Lei schimbarea la un service :D
Din cate am inteles n-am voie sa-mi pun faruri cu xenon daca spoilerul fata nu este echipat cu spritere pentru curatare. E adevarat ? In cazul asta nu cred ca ar mai avea rost sa le modific.

The headlight in this video are not designed for AFL they move just up and down. for AFL you nead headlight that move side to side also.. but you can use them with OEM xenon

Daca vrei sa fii in perfecta legalitate mergi cu ele la omologat. Dar la noi respectivul alineat din legislatie nu este aplicat, daca era aplicat nu mai vedeai pe strazi masini cu xenon pe faruri fara lupa.

Teoretic you need a + afther ignition to power the dayline. You can use in the most simple case the lighter circuit.

you can use these headlights only with the original xenon d2s or with aftermarket d2s xenon and do the wiring as in the video.

the one in the video are for LHD, and will work with after-market ballasts with the modification shown in the video

The LEDs are fitted with CAN-BUS modules.
I had this problem with LEDs. I contacted the manufacturer of the bulbs and they sent out decoders to stop it from happening

No, at the beginning the car didn't had xenon, We have used the original electrical installation with an adapter for the ballast.
because I have buy a xenon 8000 k but i dont see everything on the video .. do you have maybe a list where everything is more explain ?

valva egr se poate anula. egr i-a o parte din gazele e evacuare si le aspira in motor. nu da bani aiurea

Daca vrei sa fii in perfecta legalitate mergi cu ele la omologat. Dar la noi respectivul alineat din legislatie nu este aplicat, daca era aplicat nu mai vedeai pe strazi masini cu xenon pe faruri fara lupa.
