Panditjee's every stroke produces notes that are crystal clear and bold beads of gems . Only Ustad Halim Zafar Khan Saheb came close to him in this regard. No disrespect to other great maestros.
I am amused by commentors who state that this maestro or that maestro is "the greatest" It is simply impossible to state that any one musician is "greater" than another. You may talk about style, clarity, speed, agility, tradition, etc. or may state YOUR favorite musician, but to say that any one maestro is better or greater than another is not only demeaning but actually ridiculous. Is any one star in the sky "greater" than another ?Let's get real!
I am temtemted to write something about his sitar redition for more than one hour with lots of variation in his stroke and every stroke with such difference in unique in amazing feeling in the mind of litsners and last his recital in Raag kafi can not be narrated in real and proper words
Truly outstanding , so masterfully structured and rendered with such control. Thank you for sharing. If ever you get more details about this concert , please do share them. But at the moment very grateful for what you have uploaded.
@@ranjankumarghosal6758 It's mos def Ustad Zakir Hussain Qureshi Khan. Go to 49:00 you can clearly hear him say "Kya Baat" and shortly thereafter execute one of his patented 32nd beat downwards "meend" (glissandi) on the Bayan. I never heard Kanai Dutta do that.
Is it really necessary to make this type of conjecture? If I say it is ustad Alla Rakha how can you make my guess wrong? Listen to mgood music. That is all.
it is quite not befitting for us to write anything about world famous personality and his personality is recognised as legend and iconic in true sense and about his rendition on sitar can not be assessed in terms of proper words
