I’ve never been a good player or had particularly good guitars - but I’m “ok” 🙂
One thing in recent years is that I’m a lot more chilled about gear and happy with used and/or budget gear - which means I can change as I fancy it.
I just had a Mex Strat for a lot of years - now I’m liking trying other stuff - but just for fun.
We are in the Age of Quality Inexpensive Musical Instruments! It's not that we need many, but it does definitely inspire new ideas and can even influences your playing style. The old Silvertone i had in the 60's drove me away from playin because of high action and bad components. Beginning musicians today can buy a decent player that won't set them back if they decide to quit later. I came from a musical family, so I love all instruments, even accordion. :). Remember: Leonardo Da Vinci & Bob Ross both needed more that 'one brush' to paint their masterpieces. Thanks Tony. 🎸🎶
