A crossflow gasifier is much simpler to make, but I have a question. If the gas was collected at the same level (horizontal to the air nozzle) and then brought up through a pipe to the top of the gasifier it may cool a bit, it's also means not cutting another hole in the side of the drum. Does this mean the efficiency goes up being cooler?
