It's an amazing model, much more detailed than the other tutorials I've seen here on youtube. My only concern is that you go quite fast doing the model and it's hard to keep up if one wants to replicate what you do in SW while watching the videos, but maybe it's just me.

That is unbelievably different from what I do! Is that for some special application such as huge maritime engines or something? Impeccably structured approach though. Nice.

Sure you may know how to use more features than me, but really your method of making this connecting rod are "cute"

Great tutorial but one very important thing to be aware of is to make sure all of your sketches are fully defined. there are a few occasions where a sketch was not fully defined and this will make manufacturing and future modelling very difficult and unpredictable.

You never know what type of problem will came up. Knowing the software upto best extent is only way to counter that.

I used drawing from my Machine Drawing book. This is only way to generate model using that drawing. There are simple drawings with simple modeling too.

it is from Machine Drawing book part of gasoline engine drawings.

could you please tell the specifications of the engine in which this connecting rod is used? (CC?)

Thanks for sharing, however design is useless - small end open - might be good for compressor not an engine. No lubrication holes for Big end and I beam a bit too long.
