Today is Friday, Nov 1, 2024. Taylor Swift is on tour in Indianapolis, performing as I speak. I could not be there, so I decided to find a good playlist in effort to join them in spirit. Lo and behold, I found THIS playlist. I find myself emotionally overwhelmed. THANK YOU
Why does this makes me nostalgic and emotional. I deeply miss the Eras Tour experience. I still couldn't think of anything comparable to that kind of thrill, excitement and happiness.
I ask myself the same question. I've not ever been to a Taylor Swift concert. Nor have I watched many of her videos. SHE IS IN TOWN PERFORMING RIGHT NOW. I am a senior citizen, yet I connect with her songs. They spoke to me in a eerie way . . . like someone or something from the past that I couldn't recall. But it was there. Talk about nostalgia and/or . . . anemoia. Just today, I learned about Taylor's poetry. And also happened to see on the News a story of a local teacher who had her students write a poem based on one of Taylor's songs without revealing the song. The poems were compiled into an ANTHOLOGY. I published an ANTHOLOGY in Sept titled Nose'talgic Anemoia. While listening to this music and trying to put myself at the concert . . . something else happened. My Anthology came to mind. And so I read it along with the music, it became a production of its own. Suddenly I knew WHY I was drawn to her songs despite the age difference and Eras we live . . . She and I speak, live and thrive on the language of poets.
Every day during our “calming” moment I play your music for my students, either here or on Spotify. They love it and I do too, it’s very relaxing! Thank you for this new playlist 💖

Idk if it's me, my headphones, or the video itself, but I keep getting whisper pops every now and then and I'm only 8 minutes in. Most likely UA-cam's encoding if it does happen to be the video, but I was wondering if this was dropping on Apple Music too because the quality is so much better on Apple.
Can confirm it is the video btw. Switched headphones from my Airpods Pro to my Sennheiser hd 650s and I still get the popping sounds. Hopefully others aren't bothered by it and it's just a me being picky thing since I'm super picky with music, but just thought I'd point it out. The arrangement is on point as always though!
