Awsome content mate. Just saw one thing with your live bait set up. Jou snelled the circale hook from the wrong side your hookup reat will inproof if you line comes out at the inside of hook not the out side.
Wow. Amazing content. Loved every second of it. Thank you to you and the the guys for taking us on that amazing journey with you. After throwing my Shova's in the bin and getting a pair of aqua shows, I've never looked back.
Top video, the place you fished before Boulders in the video is called Sitonga, next time fish from the rocks in the bay where you walk down. Shad and Garrick bay that.
Hey Larnies, another block buster. Kent, I must say your videos are entertainingly different from most other channels, and I’m sure your other subscribers identify with me…Just continue doing things the way you do bru. Unlucky not to get the Big one, and with that said…”No Live bait is too big in the Kei”…I got 12kg Garrick on 30cm black tail, and seen 50cm shad used to catch 18kg plus Garrick and Kob. I imagine you spent at least 3hrs trying to undo the “nest”, both my wife and I felt your pain…try stretching the line when it is new (just the length you cast) it helps. Darren, your Chows are tops bru, but I think 1-2 curries are missing there…lol🤣. Only those of us that have been to and fished the Kei, will “feel” the special sceneries captured in these videos. Keep up the enthusiasm and dedication guys, and the big ones will come soon (if yol took me, it would have been a different story…jokes..lol🤣). Cheers…
Awsome and great advice Deno! This is how we learn and it’s great that you guys take the time out to comment and help a fellow angler out. Appreciate this… ya took me a good few hours and that’s how the thought came to me to turn it into a life lesson 🤣 curry was missing on this trip but like Darren said Ay we weren’t chowing too much 🤣 maybe we should take you next time, bring us some luck 🤔😂 thank bru, take care and really appreciate your mind words, will keep It real my side regards to the Mrs and tell her she’s a good Lady for taking the time out to watch this series with you 😄
What an epic and amazing storyline. What I really appreciate about you is you leave it all out on the table. Darren I think you are a master chef member and need to use that talent on the side. Derick and dad the memories that you guys are giving these guys are unique and will definitely be cherished by us all. Well done #2022 done and dusted. #2023ANGOLA
Thanks Calvin, appreciate your kind words. Ya Darren can cook and is always organized and makes sure we have a great meal. The Ballies enjoyed themselves 😄Angola here we come!
@@KentsFishing that's just awesome. Yeah Angola will definitely be epic. 1 day when I'm in kzn South coast, we should definitely fish. Your favorite spot. Trafalgar.
Really enjoy you guy's adventures. Salt of the earth. Don't worry the big ones will come. Now you must practice sliding Baits on your home grounds. The garrick is around and the salmon is chowing at night😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
What a trip Kent and Co! Loved it right from the beginning of the first episode. I can feel your battle with the footwear and I've been trying different stuff for years after a bad cut on the rocks in my amateur days. Did the crocs, Lizard brand aqua slippers, Shovas. The best I've had is the Rock Gripper from Basil Mannings. I know Luckys is your place to go and so to is mine when I'm on that end but on the Springfield side that's what I found fits the purpose. I got an older style that had little metal studs embedded in the rubber sole which actually saved my life because it dug into the barnacles on the rocks when I was getting washed. I use them with Xplorer booties (fly fishing gear) and it's very very comfortable. I bought the Shovas as a backup when I'd forgotten them on a trip and boy did my feet hurt. I have no clue how you covered that mileage in boots. Do yourself a favour and get Rock Grippas (I think it's the correct spelling). I see there's a new make out now so maybe try that while you're developing your own brand. I just had to stop this video and reply because I couldn't handle hearing your pain any more. I'm a physio and bad footwear will wear and tear your ankles, knees and even back with the way we fish. Tight lines and take care.
This is excellent!! Thanks so much for the advice Priyen. I’m going to have to try these Rock Gripper shoes out and as you mentioned it’s important to wear a comfortable shoe as it can effect one’s health. I want to be able to still do mileage even when I’m Derek’s age 😄 I’m determined to develop my own shoe for the sport and this is gives me great insight. Glad you enjoyed the series cheers and take care
Nice one bru, looked like you all had fun👍, will defo look at the info for guides, i will be visiting Transkie next year, my swaars father lives in the area, I am disappointed you guys never made that coffee Irish🤣😎☘️☘️☘️
Bru after I bought mine we vyd to margate pier to check how's it vying there then my bra asked me what's that I bought I told him it's a measurement mat can you believe he actually told me let's vy back to luckys because he wants one so he also bought one🤣🤣🤣
Awesome 2 episodes laarnies.. Enjoyed watching. I just got back from Umgasana yesterday. Sizer shad still thick thick. Winding the bronzie traces😂. Good fun nonetheless
Lulweni.. Next time you must go to Lulweni..taxing walk down and up but can really be worth the nights stay on the rocks.. 🎣🎣🎣Top vids Laanies.. Keep them coming 👌🏼

Love your videos bro Kent . Love fishing although I'm a women it's one of my passion. Love videos with adventures. Your fishing trip rocks. Myself and hubby love watching. Next time we know you will be blessed with a boat to show us lol👍
Lekka spot at the end of the video,I have a cottage on the point to the right of where you guys were fishing,I caught two 47cm bronzies on dropshot in a gully about 20 meters to the left of where you were fishing, lekka video🤙
What an awesome trip Kent Wow! I have no words. What an inspirational video. Tops video bro I really love your videos Looking forward to meeting and fishing with you guys one day. Cheers
Howzit boet, great video! Regarding your trace for the livie with the circle, your line is exiting your hook eye on your snell the wrong way. Your line should come out towards the hook point, should improve your hookup rate as the hook will turn inwards into the fishes mouth. You will see what I mean if you lay your trace over the palm of your hand drag the hook up towards your hand, the hook needs to find purchase. Your trace won't most of the time.
Bro, not sure if I mentioned, I've started my very own fishing vlog👌😜 it's called FISHING CULTURE..... you see what you do to us????😂 thanks buddy....wishing you and your crew many more happy memories together. Keep it going. CLINT from Umkomaas
Hi Guys My family and I have been doing Umgazana for the past 25 years..Left our vehicle at CODESA store (Now a major Conference Centre)and down to our Cottage by Boat. You are now using the same jetty (Green building)to launch your boat to get across to the North Bank. You are NOT doing anything new .We had more fun. Using chains on our tyres to get through the mud. 4×4s ONLY.
Hi Dharam, yes we definitely haven’t covered the area extensively. We were only visiting for 3 days. Yes Umngazana has lots more to offer and it’s a beautiful place and I’m sure since you have been doing it for 25 years you will know the place better. We not claiming we did everything that’s on offer neither are we saying we have had more fun than anyone else. This place is New to us and I showed viewers our experience from our point of view. I’m sure chains on tyres is a lot of fun but we didn’t need any of that. The vehicle we used had excellent 4x4 and off road capabilities. It is a 4x4 after all. Maybe you can take us around some time and show us Umngazana your way and for us to experience a different part of the Transkei Coast. Thanks and take care
Your shell on that circle hook is wrong, you going to mis the hookup nearly all the time. Line must come out from the back of the hook not the front. My opinion 🤔

No limit on the white karanteen and 15cm minimum size on the striped.
