!SOOKS (Swaziland) in the mix for Slotta's "Sweet Temptation"

What started off as a launch party for Slotta going into the Deejaying industry has somewhat blossomed into a yearly event. Starting in September of 2019 this saw Slotta step out of his “production” shell and show that there’s actually more to him than just been stuck behind a computer all day. The first event was a success and fast forward to 2020, with the challenge of Covid-19, the event makes a return though at a very socially distant “internet stage”. Named after the very first EP he released under Deeper Shades of House, this comes as a fitting name for the event listening to the intimate deep sounds dished by the gents.
On the line up this year we have Deejay Cup, !Sooks, Oscar Mbo, and of course Slotta himself, who are raring to make a statement with their finely selected tunes.
Hailing from South Africa Oscar Mbo, a deejay, producer, and podcaster of Ashamed Hour fame deliver an energetic set that sees him include some unreleased material from his upcoming project “For the Groovists”. His latest jam, Moya Wami ft Mwahoo, is doing the most in the social scenes as it sets dance floors alight (covid or no covid people dance). Stand by to groove to some crazy tunes.
Fresh from releasing an EP under the Atjazz Record Company titled “Pot Pourii”, !Sooks, hailing from Eswatini takes us on fragrantly electric escapade which only a wolf can deliver. With an extensive belt of releases under his belt, do get ready to dance your socks off.
Deejay Cup, also hailing from Eswatini takes us on a deep and techy journey with his selection. With tracks such as Take Me Away ft Floewe and Happiness ft Mvelo amongst his releases, he teases us with a taste of an upcoming remix package which will be dropping on the 14th of September. One can only imagine what he has cooking next with his fine selection of fresh cuts.
Slotta.....well, how about we let the music do the talking?! An emotional journey of deep house made up of mostly unreleased material (coming soon by the way). Slotta has never been shy to state how emotionally invested he is in his music and this...you feel from the very first tune with each track having a back story on how it was conceived.
That being said, let's indulge in this Sweet Temptation of musical bliss!
