As a rc pilot that has been in the hobby for a few years now i will say that the plane in the videos design is almost completely like the “skynetic dragonfly”
The RC Saylors have a decent plane like shown in the advertisement on their channel, it actually flys off water and flys fairly well, I was shocked lol

I just found the website you bought that on. And when you ordered it, you obviously chose that color because that color is a different airplane. S, they offer 2 different airplanes when you go to put it in cart. One of them is $39. The other one is $260. I believe, so that's what happened. You just chose the wrong one.
those model planes in the phone video are a scaled down version of the originally nitro powered Northstar model which was available for many years from Balsa USA. the design is so successful that it has been copied by many .times by scratch builders and RC companies alike . although not exactly the same, your new plane is pretty cool. 😁
As an Rc pilot I had bought this jet on Amazon I used it for like 2 weeks in a row but I absolutely obliterated the landing gear and they bent real quick 💀

That rc plane is based off of the su 30 flanker. It is a Russian based fighter with 3d thrust vectoring nossles. I suggest you look it up.😁
