@Tony Hinshaw Yes, it is the same song, but Joe Raposo originally wrote Broken Arm Blues for Luis to sing in 1984, season 16, episode 1998. The song was later performed by Telly in season 24, episode 3109 and Luis takes Telly to get his arm x-rayed.
To me, Luis needs to learn how to appreciate the fact that anyone even gave a flying flip. Thanks to his friends. a card labeled "falling behind" wasn't going to be in his deck of 52. God bless you always!!! Holly in east TN (a girl who will forever love the late beautiful precious masterpiece of a gentleman who gave us David)
Don't feel bad Luis. Last year I had The Covid-19 and tendanitous blues and was in physical pain in my arm that it lasted for months and I was home at work a lot. Boy did it hurt like hell for me, so I know how that feels😕
I watched Sesame Street a lot when I was a baby in 1973, and I really picked up literacy and counting from that and The Electric Company. I find it fascinating that the show has lived on for so many years. There is so much history over the last 50+ years.
These obsessive SS fans need to stop requesting too many things! "Can you upload this?" "Can you upload that?" "We want you to post it up so we can see it again!" Why can't just everyone on here appreciate the amount of work you do for us? All they beg is for big things that aren't on your to do list! I think this calls for a rant video for you to make! At least give everyone a final warning! I mean, I want to see clips I haven't seen before, or clips I haven't seen in a long time, but I don't make requests and demand! Hopefully everyone can learn to appreciate the work you do and enjoy the stuff for once in their life.
AMEN, my man! I think you’ve just taken the words straight out of my mouth. I’m literally getting sick of these people making massive requests like that - I mean, we’re lucky that we even have awesome UA-camrs like LittleJerry to upload classic SS treasures for us, but THEY ARE HUMANS for GOODNESS SAKE - they aren’t dolls that we can control!!! Just be grateful that they’re taking the time to share with us, and if you can’t do that, just get the hell outta here!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I always love being surprised by whatever classic Sesame Street episodes you upload! Many of them I had never seen before (as hard as that is to believe) and they are some of the best in my opinion!
"What's the matter, did I forget the ketchup or something?" "No, the problem is, you helped." I've never seen older Sesame Street, so this was a bit unexpected. Hilarious, though!
Always love to see the vintage computer, this was slightly after I was watching it as a child but in my opinion this is what the newer Sesame street is missing, more human street scenes. RIP Emilio, the character of Luis will live forever.
In *his* case, it would be the "Broken Wing Blues," and there is a difference. Broken bone = fracture (the same is true with a bone being dislocated) But as for a sprain, that would be a broken ligament.
RIP Emilio Delgado. Thanks for being the first amigo to show us life in a different part of the world from what we were the first to see.
Rest in peace Bob McGrath, Emilio Delgado and Northern Calloway.
We will never forget all the entertainment, laughter, kindness and joy you brought into our lives and hearts.
I will go back in time and save them
He may have a broken arm,but he certainly could sing. RIP Luis

I am so happy you uploaded this video! I have been searching for years for Luis singing Broken Arm Blues.

Piri is a terrific dancer!
R.I.P Luis. I love him so much!
Another goodie!
As always, thanks LittleJerry! 😊😊👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Maria was only just trying to help you Luis you don't need to be rude. Luis is having a bad day with his broken arm and he is sad.

I love Luis' voice here when he sang broken arm blues!
Yeah me too and I love when I sing the very nice blues
Yeah, Luis could sing😊
@@tami8458 yeah I can sing too with Luis
Hearing Luis sing the broken arm blues brought back memories
Luis sounds like Frank Sinatra singing

Very good singing Luis I love it 😀😍❤👌👏👍😀😍❤👌👏👍😀😍
🙏🏽 rest in peace Luis.
I just love all the times Oscar actually "helps" people on sesame street XD
He's a 'kinda' helpfull grouch?
I know folks mean well... but they don't don't be babied
Funny how in the first half of the first episode, Luis really wants to be doing something, then in the second half he just wants to relax.
I had a thumb splint on my broken thumb when I was 11 and I couldn’t do much
Yeah, not a smart idea Luis, crawling into Oscars trash can.
Agreed!
Yeah - really BAD move, Luis!
@@samiyahouston9885 never listen to a grouch.
@@seanadams3551 Except, Oscar didn't invite him in. He went there of his own free will.
Rip big homie Luis

Those comments I’ve seen are driving me insane. I’ve seen those on our fellow SS uploaders Tiny Dancer and Sesame Maniac.
Preach!!

When Big Bird sprained his wing, he should have been singing that song.
In *his* case, it would be the "Broken Wing Blues," and there is a difference.
Broken bone = fracture (the same is true with a bone being dislocated)
But as for a sprain, that would be a broken ligament.
I wonder if Bob is related to Danny Tanner.
Love you and miss you Senor Luis
You can’t do everything until your arm has healed
You can't do everything even with two good arms.
Well you need both arms to do everything
The first few weeks with a broken arm was tolerable but those last 2 weeks with the cast on drove me crazy
Everyone expected Maria is fired in the fix it shop
We hate you kids
Luis you’re still useful in the fixit shop
It’s the kids need to get broken arms
Imagine if the kids had broken arms like Luis or imagine if Luis didn’t have a broken arm and all the kids did they be miserable heh heh heh
Hey Luis if your friends bring you presents for you tell them to get lost and go away

What happened to Luis' arm?
He broke it in an accident in the Fix-It Shop a few eps before this.
He should have visited Ernie. Do the human characters ever go to Bert and Ernie's house?
Except Ernie might distract him like he dose for bert
