Plus there's probably a more diverse pool of voice actors in Japan so you work with what you have. I also though Makoto and Ishimaru were spot on.

Honestly, though FUNi should've outsourced to Bang Zoom to get the LA actors, their talent pool was actually pretty good in their own right. That and their script is just ludicrous just like the Anime itself.

DaganRonpa is a game, it ended with an anime, tho.
Also, I said "Sakura's voice doesn't fit very well, but is enjoyable". Its not a bad voice actress (at first I thought she was voiced by Envy's voice actress, tbh), but I still prefer her japanese voice, mostly because it made her more "special" in the lesson of "appearence doesn't matter, the way they behave is what matters".

I like both. I guess game allowed for more freedom and improv (maybe) because they aren’t lip-syncing. All the voice actors from both are insanely talented.
It’s kinda weird because Kyoko kirigiri’s Japanese voice actor is rias gremory and In the English dub junko enoshima is also rias gremory (1:00 and 1:27)

The way I watched the thh anime before finding out that it was a game 😭 now I have finished the entire series but can play thh bc I still know the plot :( also they rushed so much it's sad, I don't like any of the characters because I didn't get to know them properly

Honestly, though FUNi should've outsourced to Bang Zoom to get the LA actors, their talent pool was actually pretty good in their own right.
That and their script is just ludicrous just like the Anime itself.
