I did not think you were going to cut that web design from a solid piece. I thought it was round stock and you cut, bent, and welded it. The talent you show with a torch is awesome. Thanks for such a detailed video. I wish someone would donate a steel building and a couple of go pros to you. It would benefit all of us fans of yours. Great job dude.
I really like the dual tubing around the frame. Making the spider web from a flat sheet was awesome. And the added detail to the side gussets really makes it stand out. I am inspired now to go make one for my Ram. Thanks
Nice rack! That said... You work around some weather issues, damn. Great talent, your assistant couldn't even help it was so crowded... Great vid, Great channel.
You have a creative talent and a mechanical talent. Put the 2 together and you have fabricated some amazing things! As always, I enjoy watching you create! It also helps me.
I recently became a subriber-great videos, and excellent work!! I've been a high pressure pipe welder for 35+years,You are a true artist, and well thought out fabricator.Keep 'em coming, and GOD BLESS!!
Wow , bet others will want custom bed attachments to protect there Windows. Good job , if you make more patterns could be of use to cut them out before welding them in. YUPP I love watching a craftsman at work. Thank you and God bless you and the family .
Everyone keeps telling him to get a plasma cutter. The torch is working just fine. Haha. Yea its nice to have it, but then you have to have an air compressor that can keep up. It adds up. Especially when you buy something decent that you can count on to last.
hey your videos are the best thanks.can you tell me what the tool I saw you use to mark angle cuts on pipe. looked like it held soap stone some kind of protractor
Really great fab work. How many total hour do u have in that ptoject? Sometimes it's less wear on the body to just put those hours into overtime and have a shop laser cut a design u make on computer. Then weld up the tubing. Just an idea from a aircraft structures guy.
hey mate, love your work. . I have a question which i think you have probably been asked a thousand times before. can you tell my why you chose oxy acetylene instead of plasma cutting? do you have more control? i haven't used either before and I was thinking about one of these processes as my next purchase as my welding improves.
That was some amazing work Allen, mad torch skills. I'm a novice welder, I was told you couldn't weld outside with a mig with gas. Now I know on a very windy day it would blow you gas away, is it possible to weld on a calm day outside with gas? Or should you always use flux core outside? Thanks.
love your vids a true craftsman how long has that ryobi been working? i always thought they were crap had a couple over the years and they burn up in a couple months of light use get hot and just die maybe i'll give it another try..... you are skilled and seem like a good person that's the main reason i watch your vids thanks
I like the ryobi grinders, the brushes burn up quick sometimes but just take the screw out of the side and its replaceable. for the price tho, they are pretty good
I liked what you did there. I'm not sure how you attached the rack and it appears the center brake light opening may be too high to be seen from the rear?
Beautiful work... the hard way, but awesome none the less. If anyone ever needed a plasma-cam or water cutter it's you! Next one, why don't you lay it out and take it to a bigger shop to be cut on a laser table? Save you loads of work and time!
I noticed you use your torch a lot for cutting designs in sheet metal. Have you tried using a powerplasma cutter? Any thoughts on the pros and cons of either method?
I typically loath headache racks. You made a beautiful one. GREAT JOB!

awesome work Allen I like how you do it with regular tools us average guys have. You have great talent
It's called "use what tools you have and work harder"....great job friend!
You sir are not just a craftsman, you are an artist! I’ve never seen a more beautiful headache rack.
I really like the dual tubing around the frame. Making the spider web from a flat sheet was awesome.

Love the "high-tech" look done with some "low-tech" tools.. True craftsman. Keep up the good work.
That's why I got me a cnc
A labor of love my friend! Looks great as does everything you do always does! Keep up the awesome work friend!

Wow you are a great fabricator thank you for sharing this video God Bless....

Nice rack. You do better with that torch than I do with my plasma cutter.

From another fabricator, you do great work! Just need to upload in at least 480p.
thanks! I really do need to upgrade my video making
You reall do beautiful work. Keep it up! I say get a gopro hero 4 and a handful of the cheap UV lens filters in case you hit it with the grinder
You did some nice work but I would like to get the measurements for the length of tubing that is for the framing of it
You have to measure it to your truck
I love your work. A Powerplasma cutter would probably cut your fabrication time down.
Allen, love the work - but you seriously need to make yourself a CNC plasma table!!
excellent work
Great job 👍👌👍
thanks for sharing, looks awesome
Wow... That is Nice... Great Job... Great Videos...
