Tôi đã gặp đúng vào trường hợp này. Tôi đậu phỏng vấn, người của lãnh sự quán đã chúc mừng tôi. Họ giữ lại hộ chiếu của tôi và hẹn sau 7 ngày sẽ dán Visa gởi về cho tôi.
Nhưng sau đó họ lại không dán Visa mà chỉ gởi lại hộ chiếu ,và 1 tờ giấy màu xanh ghi nội dung vi phạm điều khoản 221 (g), họ nói rằng tôi không cần bổ sung thêm bất cứ giấy tờ nào nữa cả. Và chỉ việc chờ họ điều tra.
Tôi thật sự không hiểu họ điều tra về việc gì, và trong khoảng thời gian bao lâu.

I applied for a C1/D as a cabin crew. I had my letter from the company and they put me on 221g and they kept my passport and said “hopefully I can approve it”. Do you know how long is gonna take? Is it everything ok if the Consul didn’t ask for more documents, just gave me white slip with admin processing marked?

I interviewed on 12aug for J-1 visa short term visiting scholar. They kept my passport and give me a blue paper on which it is written that your visa is approved. But on the next day i receive an email in which they said that according to 221g act your visa application is refused and submit the pending required documents. Now i want to ask that my status is showing as refused after submitting the pending documents. What should i do now? Either my visa will be issued or not and how much time i have to wait ?

Hello my name Rheodias am from bénin republic Cotonou after my interview on the 7th of January 2021 i receive a 221g wight slip and the consulate ask me for additional documents on the 12th of January 2021 whis ave submitted but my case is still refused
