Finally! My long await review on this beautiful bag! Although it does have its cons, believe me, this bag is worth it! Beauty is pain Dolls, beauty is pain! This is the perfect bag to make a statement! The Celine fashion house (whom is owned by LVMH) has won my heart over!! I own a phantom in the natural calfskin leather. I think it's thicker and heavier than the smooth calfskin and I only realized that after I received it. I have it for 1.5 years but I never carried it out due to its weight. Every time I wanted to sell it, I ended up not doing so because it's such a beauty.
I LOVE the look of Celine, and I did buy a Micro in black, but I ended up returning it to Saks, because it was too heavy for me...
No shoulder strap makes it impossible to carry for any length of time!!! But, I do totally agree w/ you that it IS gorgeous!!
Thanks Minnie. They look different than the ones before; I think you changed the way of wearing them by twisted both together. They look great, elegant, u too.
That is my dream bag! My budget for now only allows me it's distant relative, the Paschli lol. Maybe one day. Enjoy her! Great review.

Beautiful bag Minnie great review there's nothing like the smell of real leather and when you have a bag made with real leather it's going to be a little heavy that's a given.

Love your Celine review! I own the Celine large luggage shoulder bag. Unfortunately they dc the shoulder bag. It's not heavy on the shoulder . I wear it both ways .

I own an Alexander Wang Rocco so a heavy bag doesn't scare me. The lack of a shoulder strap bothers me with a bag that heavy. I also found it hard to work in and out of, and it's HUGE! Especially with the gussets. With that being said, it's a very well made bag and excellent quality. However, I just can't take the plunge.

That bag is stunning! But heavy is a huge con! I saw a chocolate brown Saint laurent Sac de Jour in nordstrom was gonna take the plunge, but I picked it up and was like this is empty???!! Really love ur review.. I'm going to get my first celine hb, should i buy the phantom or the mini? Dont know which one to get first.
I forgot to add that when I took it back, the SA's all swarmed around and couldn't believe I wanted to return her!!!! And, within 5 minutes, it was SOLD!!! LOL!!!!

It is an incredible bag, agreed! I own it in both Fuchsia and Taupe, so I am curious you mentioned you pretreat the suede interior... what do you recommend I use for pretreatment of such light colors? I am always concerned they will mark up in the rain. Thank you!
