Pretty rare sight, actually. We're just going to making a fairly aggressive right turn to detour so we don't die. Please keep your seatbelts fastened and have a safe and comfortable flight with us." Certainly worse than my last flight. The captain said something along the lines of "This is flight 666, on our way to hell via Elm Street..." Never fly on Halloween.
yes you see it too! i always seen it as a shark stalking and finding the perfect attack angle and then dipping befor something more dangerous come by to investigate the fresh blood
Random joke, to hopefully brighten your day. During the Battle of Britain, the BBC sends a radio van down to the south coast to follow the raids. A big one comes in and the Allied fighters rise to meet it. A Hurricane gets shot down, and the pilot bails out. He lands nearby. The reporter runs over. It turns out he’s Scottish. “I say, sir, how was it?” “Och, there were Fokkers to the left, Fokkers to the right, Fokkers all around. I hate them Fokkers.” Embarrassed silence. “For the benefit of our gentle listeners, a Fokker is a type of German aircraft.” “Aye, but these Fokkers were Messerschmitts.”
Unrelated story: to avoid getting an R-rating for 'Meet the Fockers,' Ben Stiller had to find people whose last name was Focker to show the MPAA that Focker wasn't something vulgar.
Loved the inclusion of a civilian inadvertently straying and needing interception. The mix of NK planes and bizarre ordinance was great too! Really enjoyed this one 😁
In reality, the north koreans will just send some of their big fat missiles there. They don't even need fresh russian toys, they have plenty of their own.
Even though it’s 20 years or so old, the F-22 is still the same dominant physics-breaking, UFO fighter jet that it always has been lol. Damn thing really is a x20 force multiplier in every situation. The only problems with it? It’s expensive, and it doesn’t carry enough missiles lol. I was listening to a podcast last week that was talking about the F-22, and a retired pilot who used to fly them. Apparently, in the user manual for the Raptor, one of the lines in there basically said in layman’s terms, “fly this thing with reckless abandon” 😂. The computers and systems are as such that, the plane essentially flies itself; the pilot gives it inputs, and the jet takes care of the rest. It’s ridiculous.
Got to admire the loyalty of those Mig-15 pilots. 3 Mig-29s took a one way trip into that airspace and they still strapped on their flight suits and flew the mission. I would not have blamed them for punching out the moment they saw you, but they chose to make you work for your kills. Obviously you didn't have to work very hard, but they didn't roll over and give up at least.
You know. It is ironic that you posted this video after I got off work, because at my job, there is a C-17 that flies by on occasions, and today was that day. It did a double pass. Now I understand why. They were making sure they were ready to be featured in today's video!
😂 @5:22 when you come sliding down the mountain had me laughing cause of the giggles you get when you sneak up on unsuspecting pilots. Haha Then turned out to end the video in an F-22 in Vietnam scenario with those MiG-15's. Great video!
imagine being a commercial pilot and after getting you to leave the no fly zone the jet flares and pulls away and now you're thinking that you just got a missile shot at you
That really only comes into play on the strategic level, and doesn't apply when your foe is unable and incapable of matching your material production and purchasing levels. Additionally, as those "cheap" planes were presenting a threat to the mission, the question is no longer if the cost of the expended ordinance is reasonable for the target, but if the cost of spending the ordinance is reasonable in relation to the value of the assets being protected.
FAA intercept procedures are to turn across the nose in the direction you want them to turn while dropping flares. If you do not, the wingman sitting behind the target aircraft may have authorization to shoot, depending on the TFR. Of course all of that is if you have failed to communicate with ATC on the sector frequency that you should be on already, or on Guard (121.5), which you should be monitoring.
If I was in a civillian air liner and a jet fighter poped flares next to us I would not think "He's waving good bye" I would think "HOLY SHIT THERES A MISSILE INBOUND AN IT COULD HIT US"

Any F35 videos?
I would like to see you back in the STRIKE EAGLE again. Self escorted, deep strike maybe a runway.
Any chance for a sr71?

Hahahaha 🤣 That A380 Captain is totally calling and chewing out his Dispatcher about the No Fly Zone omission in the flight release. IYKYK.
NOTAM SNAFU 😂
Cool! Flares! Wait unless he’s defending… should I be defending?
An F-22 against MiG-15s is essentially the hydrogen bomb versus coughing baby meme

I was impressed that it got the 22 in front. Could have taken a shot, if it had guns
The missile cost more than the planes.
Send them the bill.

Every time I see the Raptor sneaking up on other aircraft, I think of the sound bit from the movie "Jaws"
yes you see it too! i always seen it as a shark stalking and finding the perfect attack angle and then dipping befor something more dangerous come by to investigate the fresh blood
Call sign "Jaws"
AMRAAM cost: $2,180,000
MiG15 (2x) cost: $300,000
This video is peak 'Murica. Loved every second of it.
As a taxpayer I was thinking, "Go with guns!" on that last one.
Those MIGs are...were museum pieces!
That’s why we don’t get healthcare.
The Mig 15/s maybe outdated but they carried bunkers busters (sort of) so they could have done significant damage hadn't they been shot down...
@@CB-ke7eq literally! They have one at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo near me :)😆
North Korea->... "Both flights have disappeared?" "What do we have left to send?"... Mig15 pilots shuffle around nervously...

American military jets are equipped with radios that also can send and receive on international airline frequencies. DCS should simulate this.
6:44 Mig 29 probably going for the most important mission of his life
F-22 somehow behind him- not today
Sir... you cant bring that in here...
The scream at 6:59 was hilarious
And much appreciated
LMAOOOO i know! i lost it on that lol
That closing shot. Flight of four Raptors abreast. That track that hits hard. Absolute peak
"oops that amraam went over the mig 29's head"
*a $1,090,000 oopsie*
There can never be enough Raptor content ❤
That thing is a beast ... an absolutely sneaky beast.
The F22 will enforce the no fly zone...by making sure nothing else flies in it.
Yes...that's how it works.
You can turn back or you can be landed in the no fly zone. The choice is entirely yours.
No fly zone is a politically correct term for we're allowed to fly here but you're not
@jburton7978 I mean...yeah
14:33 considering one F-22 has already cleaned up the entire airspace, I think sending FOUR more might be slight overkill lol
“Kim Dum-Porkchop” is gonna be pissed at you!
Lol
i think bro is in love with that f-22, great content tho!
he always has so much fun with it, you can tell
It’s literally playing BVR & BFM on easy mode. The Raptor is so OP….absolutely love to see it at work!

F22 and A10 videos are an instant watch
Launches a few flares to say thank you, then mysteriously the British Airways aircraft gets tagged by a missile
I would venture to guess, the ordnance those N.Korean jets were carrying was intended to hit the base the C-17's landed at.
Well. Key word is “intended”.

"Let's get back to work" is the most scary sentence you can hear from a f-22 pilot

Great to see you again buddy. Another fantastic video as usual. So entertaining

So, those C-17's are really modeled nicely.
that passenger plane has no idea whats about to happen in that no fly zone
