I’m a Toyota guy and own a Tacoma, but this truck is a beauty! I love Silverados!
LMAO, it will only be a matter of time before the average American has to take out a 30 year mortgage to buy one of these overpriced trucks.
The top of the line aren't supposed to be cheap. They have a work truck and LS trim level which is easily obtainable if you have a decent job and are willing to work hard
@@WellsWoodWorking304 People who are financially illiterate. They'll be underwater 20k+ for a 3 year old car
Unlike a lot of these dudes commenting...
I actually like the way the truck looks
I really like Lyn's review style
Their not real chevy people. We call them trolls! Beautiful truck! Go Chevy!
Simple Jack yeah I like the front end too, honestly people that say it looks like a tundra need to get their eyes checked.
Thumbs up for the intro, alone...
Are you sure this was a review? All I saw was a spec sheet reading. No negative remarks or criticisms.
It's Kelly Blue Book. They aren't reviewing anything, it's just an advertisement
I’m really digging this updated design. The custom model with the 5.3 is calling my name.
only thing I like is the column shifter, trucks don't need a center mounted shifter, let me use that space for other things
Funny as hell with the drone lol!!!
We think there are huge differences between the 2018 and 2019 - and we love those changes. Thanks for sharing!
My dad bought this truck the bass in it is insane
I’m not a huge fan of the Silverado, but man that Trailboss is awesome. That would be the only Silverado I’d consider.
Great review
Absolutely love, gorgeous. Beautiful lines. I like the truck too. Seriously, I do think it's a contender with the competition. At the very least the GM crowd will be likely be very happy. Happy New Year to all!
Why are there so many Ram lovers watching Chevy reviews? Honestly... if you love Ram so much, don’t waste your time watching something you hate. Otherwise you secretly like Chevy, but you just was to brag about the interior of Ram. Because that’s what a good portion of comments are about Ram, it’s just the interior...
Yes, go buy your DOG-GE and enjoy your curly-cue stitching on the arm rest there on the side of the road....
I legit enjoy the music in these videos
The Silverado (high country) is by far the best looking new truck. Outside. Inside it’s already dated ...
cool video - well done
Looks great
Beautiful....both!Thanks!
I love the part where she says the truck can haul a lot more weight and she throws a pinecone in the back.
SOLD! 😂
that intro was on point
Looking to put fog lights on mine. Any idea where to run harness through the firewall and mount the switch?
Is this truck that huge, or Lynn is that petite? Great review though.
William Amuah no one pays that much. There is crazy ass incentives on these. And if you want to lease you can get one for like $200
If you can get one of those for $200 a month you let me know and that’s with minimal out of pocket
The lease are cheap, but $200, they are around $480, which is great for $65k vehicle
The pine cone got me! Haha
How is tilt and telescoping steering wheel column even optional now in today's time?
I actually don't like it, I think the 14-18 years look best.
So the older 2018 is more fuel efficient than the 2019? That is certainly bucking the trend.
lots of room for my fast food bags and empty 711 coffee cups
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado RULES in styling and power of all the pickup trucks!
Great Video Of Chevrolet Silverado. 😄
I still struggle to find out what the destination is. Can anyone explain?
looks great.
Update-Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can NOT even be ordered or does NOT come with the “power brake and foot pedal” adjuster....Think about such a large truck without this option....If you have short legs, you have to move up the seat close to the steering wheel, which has an airbag in it.
This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?
Intro was hilarious 😂
I wonder where you guys always walk off too? 🤔
3:31 oooohhhooo thanks you are back...
Crazy looking front
Good review
Nice video
Hold on! Why is the “LT” trim not the base trim? LT sounds like a “lite” trim.
I bought a trail boss 2019 and had a oil leak after first cold start plus my dash board light went out
Still at GM for 3 weeks .
So frustrating
There have been a few people come through to review for KBB and honestly I think Lynn and Micah are the best. They fit right in. Great review Lynn!
Fan boy comments, gotta love them. Whats attached to every dealership? A shop.
I like this truck very cool.
Great! but can they make a bed extension option?, that bed is too short, makes the truck look like you bought a car and not a truck.
She bought those boots just for the video
So disappointed there is already a recall on my Silverado for break issue. I’m currently having issues and telling me parts are on back order and no telling when they will get them. Brakes are the last thing you want going bad on your vechicle and they, including the dealership, give it no importance. I’m reconsidering chevy at this time.
$50,000,000,000 bailout + 14,000 USA job layoff + major tax cuts = Government Motors.
That front headlight looks like the new accords tail lights.
Wonder if these will have the chevy shake problem.
I have a 2001 Silverado and I love it. Too bad GM screwed up their engines with AFM.
Is this the Kelley from Kelley Blue Book
The 5.3L V8 and 6.2L V8 are NOT new engine options. You must be referring to the technology called Dynamic Fuel Management that replaced Active Fuel Management. Additionally, the 2019 models are 2" longer and 2" wider than the outgoing model, so I'm not sure how accurate that maneuverability is that you reference.
I don't know what she's on, but it's completely different from previous Silverados. Differences everywhere
What?!! Where’s Micah?? Anyways good review on it! 👍🏼
*What about the z71 model❓, the specs on that one. Is the transmission Good on the 2019 silverados ❓ because, the 2017 were notorious for their defective transmissions.* 💯🤔
I've been a Chevy fan for years and years. I've owned various models from Chevelles to Silverados. I've wrenched on 'em and raced 'em. GM has ensured they will not be getting any of my money for any new vehicle from them. I'm looking at a Ford now.
You won't be sorry, plus, fords rank highest in crash safety as well as resale.
I wish you would review vehicles in trims that most people actually can afford
$67K!! Truck buyers are such suckers.
Actually, truck buyers are pretty smart. Trucks are the best value propositions because no other type of vehicles offer so much for the money. They're practical, they're ruggedly built, they usually have much better resale value than cars, they have more incentives which makes them cheaper to purchases and, if you're business owner, they have tax benefits. When you think about, trucks are way cheap, and it's stupid to not see the value.
Trucks basically can do or be anything. If you equip your average luxury with many of the features seen in this truck, you'd be pushing well over $67,000 with no problem. But what's more than that, no other type of vehicle will offer luxury car amenities while being as being as spacious, and having the ability to go off-road, and the ability to tow and haul. What other car can do that at any price??? None!
You obviously don't own a truck. Trucks are probably the smartest buy around.
Trucks do it all, and they're financially the smartest buys. Trucks almost never sell for MSRP, and they have the best resale values in the business. They're actually a very wise choice for most people, which is why they're popular.
Even at half that price, it is still a rip off. I own two trucks, only because I have to. They are by far the WORST "investment" anyone can make in a vehicle... the maintenance, gas and general upkeep alone is ridiculous compared to a car.
I’m sticking to my 98chevy pickup...which was brought for 500 of Craigslist......forget a car payment I’m still going long distances in a mazda b2200 and Toyota pickup...
My mom has one 2019 Silverado, color gray
@@AlejandroP1980s Man I hate when people don't reply to an actually good question.
I have a 2005 and am definitely a Chevy guy, although I'm not sure about the styling. I have 250,000 miles with the only problem is a $100 water pump. Before that i had a 1995 Sierra SLE with a 350. It was sold with 400,000 miles with the only problem being an alternator. Ive heard tbe reliability has gone downhill since the 1st generation but i don't know anyone who personally owns one. My Dad has a 2012 F150 with a 5.0. He's at 225,000 miles but he's had a few problems, nothing engine related though
Still no 2019 Camaro review ?
Thats why Chevy is losing money, too many trims and confusing naming.
Or it's just that GM makes there cars too cheap and they have reliability issues that forces people to stay away from their brands
@@caucasianinvasion2972 Not true, chevy is the most reliable and many go 300k miles or more. Check you facts not your feelings.
@@theodoreschmidt9601 my statement is backed by tests performed by consumer reports, customer surveys, statements made by mechanics (I know and Online), and independent studies. My friend is a mechanic, he says 2/3 of the trucks they see are made by GM. With all of this info I'm hearing from multiple sources I wouldn't even look at a GM when buying a vehicle
At least you dont have to add 15 packages to get a decently equipped truck (FORD!)
I like it. Looks good. Needs a little lift though.
This girl is amazing
Where are they built?
I test drove one of these and they are really nice! The one i test drove was a RST model with a bunch of options 20 inch wheels Bose audio and such and stickered for 54000! It drove as nice as the Ram and better than the F150 also the seats are comfortable and Bose audio sounds real good! So IMO probably the best Truck after test driving all three!!
I've been a Chevy person my entire life, and have several family members that have retired from GM, but they honestly lost me with this new body style. I went with Ford with my new truck.
Where is the guy did he retire ?
“18 inch Goodyear tires”
Great truck reminds me of an over styled Tahoe inside and out. 7/10 would by if ram or ford breaks down
She's gotten better, I miss Micah, but she's doing much better. 70k for a vehicle is outlandish. 30k for a base truck is also, it comes with alot of features sure, but thats a ton of money to spend on something
You can get 10-15K off sticker and when you go to trade them they hold their value much better then say a Sedan. I bought a Ram and kept it four years. I traded it in for 13K less then I paid for it. 13K over a 4 year period is a low cost per month. with the only money I had to spend was a set of tires during that time.
the trailer stuff is so damn cool. 62k for a fully loaded truck isn't that bad
The sides and stamped tailgate looks like our 2018 Tundra.
Les falto mostrar mas detalles de la Camioneta Chevrolet Silverado, por ejemplo tiene en la defensa trasera un escalon para subir al platon en cada lado, o las luces dentro de él cuando uno la carga de noche y otras cosas más.
18 inch goodyear tires? that's got to be the smallest rim and tire package available lol.
As always, the smokin' hot Lyn comes through with another nice review... oh, and I guess the truck is okay.
These are trucks for people who don’t use trucks. Executives/bosses are the only ones able to afford these. And they are the ones not using them lol.
I would like a RAM interior with the tried and true GM 6.2 V8.
Where is the 2019 Ram 1500 review from KBB? Maybe GM paid KBB to say good things about the Silverado if in return they do not review the Ram. 🤔
Does chev re design their truck every 2 years?
Hey The Design Looks Good To Me!!! Because We Have A Colorado Storm In Philippines!!!
They need a new chief designer, that's a mug only a mother could love.
Where is the LTZ?
My dad has the same Chevrolet Silverado but its black
They still have to use a whip antenna for the radio in 2019 even at 67K? Hard pass.
Tony Dunn I’ve read that that is he indicator of how tall the roof is. If you are pulling in say a garage and it clears the antenna then it will clear the roof
@@zachg9065 I got a Silverado recently and it certainly let me know where a tree branch was while I was parking. Also, who uses the radio anymore? I just shove a thumb drive loaded with MP3's in the USB and off I go.
The boys in Charleston, S.C. dislike the high country option, they'd rather the low country version.
They need to bring back RCSB (fully loaded).
I checked out a Trail Boss and it just felt cheap inside. And at 54,000 no way.
May be thí can be thr next transform vehicle for Bumblebee.
She has it all. Transfer the others to Renaultistan and just have her do the video reviews. Oh, and give her a pay raise.
I bought new LT Z71 but mine is one of the Shake-A-Radoes. It has a vibration problem. Started rusting out with less than 2,000 miles. Had both rear shackles replaced less than 1,000 miles (truck has never been off road). Rear slider window replaced less than 1,000 miles. Read reports that about 40% of Silveradoes have this problem. My next truck will be a Ford F150, much better quality
@Unknown GM can verify it, they have a copy of all the service invoices from the lawsuit.
And if you look at used a five year old trunk with 200,000 miles they are asking $25,000 or more l just keep driving my 22 year old suburban,I can rebuild it nose to toes for $ 10,000.
$70K for a truck that will live 98% of it's life tooling around town is an abomination. Even a low option model comes in at the $50K mark. That's a ton of money on a depreciating asset.
No kidding...
Most dealership off at least 5k is incentives and rebates, u can walk off with a brand new LT with a 5.3L for around 38-40k or a custom for just 33-35k
Just get a Colorado if you can't afford it. Mine cost $22,000 and is the size of a 90s Silverado (and has almost as much horsepower too)
@Armando Sturzenegger the only advantage of the new Ranger is the 2.4 turbo over the 3.6na. I got the 2.5l 4cyl in the Colorado so I'm getting better mileage than I would have in the Ranger. My business doesn't require hauling of heavy stuff (pest control) so fuel economy is most important to me.
The Colorado has a nicer interior than the Ranger too
@theory816 In other words, keep it in a climate control garage and never drive it :)
